The location in Albany Oregon is where this review is based on. I have been here twice this year while traveling and both times it was the same. I went in to use the restroom and get dinner most recently. The wait from ordering my food to getting the first portion of my food was 25 minutes. I watched while the bag with my food sat on the counter with some of my order for 10 minutes before that. During the wait 4 customers came up to the counter who arrived before me and complained they hadn't had thier order and all of our numbers had disappeared from the "in process: and did not appear on the "now serving screen". When my order was called the drinks were not with it and I was told 1 of my items was not available as the machine was down and would I like to wait 5 minutes for it. I said no and they offered a replacement. We got our drinks 5 minutes later. This one worker was pleasant and hustling, which was a stark contrast to the rest of the 10 or so workers in the kitchen. They appeared apathetic and unapologetic to anyone. I advised that another part of our order was missing and they started searching for some, several minutes after that coming back saying there was none cooked and would I like to wait for it. I said no, at this point i had been waiting 35 minutes and wanted a refund. They were disorganized even in that and were rude and annoyed, not bothering to count out the change due and just giving me dollar bills which was more than the items I was asking refund on. During that wait, staff started telling additional customers that they did not have parts of thier orders. Other customers left without refunds or the missing food. It took 45 minutes from the time on our receipt until we got the refund and the food. As expected, most of the food was cold. When I visited this site earlier this year, I was in the drive thru and sat for a long period of time and upon getting to the food window after already paying was told some of my order was unavailable and offered replacement. I will not be going to this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOrdered 5 burgers 4 hot spicy mcchickens, 3 with extra mayo and one with no mayo and one with honey mustard. one double 1/4 pounder with bacon and no onions or pickles. Was informed they were āout of bacon.ā Also ordered a dozen strawberry pies, knowing the wait was 12 minutes, I drove miles from home because all the other McDonalds were changing to pumpkin pies. Knowing about the 12 minutes to cook the pies I called ahead to inform them Iād be ordering them knowing about the wait. Waited 27 minutes for my pies, one team member asked me to move where I was parked waiting. Finally received order. Got home, started into the food. None of the spicy mcchickens had mayo, no honey mustard included, the double 1/4 pounder had pickles and onions, that Iām allergic to. I called back and was assured after giving name and number I could have order replaced correctly at anytime I came back. I came back 3 days later and was told they didnāt have or couldnāt find my name and didnāt have the authorization to replace order without the manager there, but I was welcome to come back the next morning while he was on duty to āaskā him.(I work swing shift) they wouldnāt replace anything and expected me to just reorder everything and pay full price. The woman taking my call was polite and well spoken and I felt sorry for her but the way she acted as though a 10$ meal would be absolutely impossible to replace without the say so of some all powerful manager that couldnāt be reached and obviously lied about taking my name and number down(he claimed to have a book they keep these kind of things in) was just a terrrible experience. After going for similar meals almost 5x a week Iāll never go back to McDonalds for a single fry. At the time I wouldnāt have even asked to have the order replaced but Iām really struggling and didnāt have more than 5$ on me. Absolutely humiliating to be treated like I was trying to scam a very specific order when I was told the details were recorded. If I could give zero...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur food was exactly as ordered and service was fast. Thats all fine & good, but I want acknowledge a young man who went above & beyond for another customer. She was seated at a table close to ours and we witnessed David approach her and admit that he had just recalled a special request on her order, which he had not noted, and thus it was not done. The lady politely accepted his apology and refused a replacement. Nevertheless, David went to his manager, admitted his mistake, and then tried to offer her some free pies. Although her request for "no bread" probably indicated a gluten-free diet (thus making the pie an unlikely appeasement), the effort was honest, and quite charming. He made a tired roadside snack break, into a pleasant experience worthy of note. He earned them this 5 star rating... get that kid into management! David, your kindness was noticed and...
