Emiliano's Pizzeria — Restaurant in The Woodlands

This place is a whole vibe. Born and raised in NYC, I have high standards when it comes to pizza, and this spot hits the mark in all the right ways. This is my second visit, and while it has the look of a classic pizzeria, it gives off the cozy, relaxed energy of an Italian café. The place is very clean.

I always dine in, pizza fresh from the oven just hits different. On my first visit, I tried the hot honey buffalo chicken pizza. It had great elements and a lot of potential, but it wasn’t quite it for me. I decided to give it another shot and asked one of the staff members (who was great to chat with) to surprise me with a pie. Both visit I ordered a 12” as their single slices are quite small and don’t measure up to the traditional single slice size.

This time, they made me a white trio with sausage. I mentioned I’m not a fan of heavy tomato sauce and prefer my crust well-done. That’s when I learned they use a special distilled and filtered water that mimics NYC tap water, game changer. Water makes a huge difference in the dough, and this crust easily competes with some of my NYC favorites.

While this pie still wasn’t “the one,” it was solid, and it just gives me another reason to keep coming back to find my perfect match. I wonder if I can get them to make zeppoles?! I love stopping in with my Kindle during work breaks, reading while the music plays (Billie Holiday is always a win) and the kitchen does its thing. On multiple occasions now I’ve attempted to order from this place through the “too good to go” app, on my first attempt my order was canceled by the restaurant as I was driving my way to the store. This time is the last straw for me, I arrived during the pickup window only for the store to be empty, lights out, locked up tight. Last time I try to eat anything here, they clearly don’t give two flips about any customers.

This is an edit after the owner responded, this is the correct place for my review, I filed my report with too good to go during your pick up hours while the doors were locked, it is your responsibility as the business owner to only be posting bags on too good to go if you have the product, considering how infrequently you show up on the platform I know that you are manually inputting into The too good to go portal. If your pick up hours in the too good to go app are incorrect just own up to it, plain and simple. I ordered through UberEats. First off, they do a fantastic job on the crust! Absolutely amazing! Second, the Emiliano’s special is so delicious. The bbq one is 50/50 but worth it if you get a slice. The STAR of the show was the meatlovers! I don’t usually do reviews but I had to give this 5 stars because the meatlovers is AMAZING! The cheese pizza was okay but didn’t hold my attention. Run…don’t walk for the meatlovers! UPDATE: I ordered through UberEats for my parents. I ordered several pizzas including meatlovers. When delivered, the meatlovers was just a cheese pizza.
