Firehouse Subs Tifton — Restaurant in Tifton

Let me start by saying, firehouse is one of my all time favorite sub shops and the only reason why I’m leaving the review is because I want to continue coming here but something has to change. I pulled up and waited at the speaker for about 5 minute and no one helped me so I just walked inside. When I got inside, there were two people ahead of me that had done the same thing. No one had their headset on. The person at the cash register was Leslie. She was very very nice but unprofessional. Before she started taking the order for the first person in line she counted the money in her drawers. In the middle of taking this lady’s order she answer the phone and then after that phone call, picked up her PERSONAL cell phone and made a call. In my opinion, your cell phone shouldn’t even be visible, let alone used while helping a customer. The COKE machine was out of several popular flavors, such as COKE. Again, the staff was extremely nice and seemed like great people. I’m not mad at them, I just think they seem inexperienced. Very friendly and courteous staff!! The Steak & Cheese sub was DELICIOUS! I order the medium and had a hard time eating it all bc there were very generous with the Steak and other toppings! The chili was good also. I was shocked at the price of my meal! I don't think I could anywhere else that has the variety, quality, and quantity given for price. Zachary was very helpful in helping me find which sub I wanted. His suggestion was right on the dot! I tried to go by after work and order food for my husband and myself, for me I ordered a plain sandwich with just meat and cheese and a drink. The wait times here are always very long even when they don’t have anyone inside, and the speaker desperately needs to be fixed. It is constantly squealing and I had to repeat each part of my order 3 times. When I paid though the receipt did have my order on it perfectly correct. So I wasn’t worried. When I got My drink it wasn’t even close to what I ordered, but they did fix it before I left. I thought the sandwich was okay until I tried to bite into it and find that it’s got mayonnaise on it.
