Asahi Express Japanese Steak House & Seafood — Restaurant in Tifton

Had lunch here today on my way back from Tennessee to Florida. Found it based on the reviews. Used to have a place like this back home but I moved and have been craving it! This place really hit the mark.

Ordered a combination plate of Chicken and Shrimp. It came with sweet carrots, broccoli, mushrooms and fried rice with a side of the white yum yum sauce. We got a side of mushrooms which was huge and way more than I expected. They were very tasty and came out steamy and piping hot. Very good portions too. Plenty of food for two people.

A few things I didn't like were the rice was a little too salty from the soy sauce they added for my taste and the bigger pieces of chicken were a tad dry but the white sauce helped it a bit. The eggroll I ordered was was also a bit dry.

Other than that, really pleased with the meal. I'd definitely go back if I lived...

Just want to say the the food is good but I find something very odd at the new location. I notice that the broccoli is not cooked and the the management really don't care ...I basically told the cashier that the broccoli 🥦 wasn't cooked and she act like she didn't hear me or just ignore me ..my second issue was maybe she was having a bad day ,but I took in account that she acted the same way at me my previous visit ,her attitude was really at a bad disposition. So I find myself not like the tone of this restaurant...to whom the owner is there need to a more friendly staff on your behalf. I could never recommend this place to anyone who visit tifton because it would make me feel embarrassed for the type of service I experienced..note to owner please allow customer to substitute veggie for other veggie that come in the meal ... thku your non...

Asahi Express has never really let me down, especially after a long day and you just want some good food to eat either via dining in or you could choose take out and eat the good food of Asahi from the comfort of your own home. Not to mention that the employees tend to fill your to go order TO THE BRIM full of food, like it should be a crime how much they fill up your to go orders. Get about 3 to 2 boxes of the Steak and Chicken combo box (which is my personal favorite) which can come with rice, vegetables, and mushrooms if you're into that and once you put those boxs in a bag make sure the bag is durable because it's going to be quite heavy as you'll find out once you pick up the bag. Anyways Overall the service is excellent and so is the food, so I'd say that Asahi Express more than deserves...
