Luxury use to be the best place in town to have your nails/toenails done. Over the last several years they have declined in their services. Donât get me wrong some of their employees are still very good at what they do but unless you make an appointment with them, the chances of you getting someone else not as nice or âskilledâ is very high. One of my experiences for example. I went and just had my toes polished not quite two weeks prior to the situation I ran into today, same polish color was used, but I was leaving for the beach and wanted to have them redone. The guy who did them then was great....the lady who done them today was awful. So I could tell she was in a hurry and not very nice. While I sat scrolling on my phone like I usually do when I have this done...I was still keeping an eye on my toes. So she was getting ready to apply the clear coat and I had thought to myself that she hadnât put two coats of color but thought maybe I missed it. So she asked me to pay her at that time, which I did, and then told me to go sit at the table and to grab my shoes....which Iâm not above, believe me, but she was just rude about it. When I get to the drying table I took a closer look at my toes and noticed they were very splotchy and not smooth. Instantly I knew she hadnât put two coats on. So I grabbed my stuff and she was walking to the front where I met her and asked if they usually do two coats? One of the guys who has been there for a while asked if he could see them and then told her to apply another coat. He could see what I seeing and why I was unhappy. So she takes me back to the chair where she applied another coat and then as Iâm getting up to walk back to the table she proceeds to tell me next time I need to pick a darker color because that color(keep in mind itâs the same color I had put on two weeks ago and didnât have this issue) has to have 4 coats before it will cover like it should.....I call bs. She only applied a total of two coats while I was there and the difference definitely noticeable. I just wish they would realize âquality over quantityâ. And get some people in there that will do their job correctly just like Iâm expected to do at mine. And smile...
Read moreI wanna start by saying it was a Nice, clean, and relaxing environment. BUT, I had my nails done by this lady, my big toe is almost textured because she kept hitting the UV light on my toenail, told her about it several times and she either ignored me or didnât seem to care. As you can see by my other toes, it looks like a child painted them. She didnât not file or shape my nails at all. So they are slanted. I also asked her to just trim my toe nails a little bit because I like my toe nails a little long. She took it upon herself to cut them shorter than I asked and kept saying âI love your nails short, they look good. See I told you, they look goodâ I told her again, that I did not want them short. Doesnât matter what she would have preferred considering I paid for the most expensive pedicure. She also cut the skin back on one of my toes. It was so painful that I snatched my foot back and said ow. She was also putting the hot stones on me and asked if it was too hot. I told her at first it was fine. But she kept leaving it on one spot so I was like thatâs a little hot. She looked at me and still left it there until I was like no more stones. I also had someone with me who got the same pedicure. The guy who did her nails didnât cover all her nails with polish and only did one coat. You could see her actual nail because the polish was so thin. Instead of saying something to the guy, she just grabbed the polish after he was finished and painted them herself. Thatâs insane to me. For pedicures to be $65 it was absolute garbage. Iâve never had anyone screw my toes up as bad as they did . I was beginning to think it was impossible to mess a pedicure up, UNTIL I came to this place. I will never come back here and will always stick to my...
Read moreI will NOT be back. Iâve only had one issue with this place. They double dip their wax. So I stopped getting waxed there. Never had any issues with mani or pedis. That was, until now. August 4th I went with some friends as a treat for my birthday. The treatment I was given that day was cruel and unsanitary. I noticed the lady doing my pedicure was a little rough whenever she was trimming my cuticles. She went a little too deep a couple times and I had to jerk away. When she put my feet in the water and it started to sting I knew she went too far for sure. After proceeded she got around to the pumice stone. She wasnât really paying attention and ended up going on the back of my ankle. Literally taking a chunk of my skin off. I jerked away really hard that time and she moved on. Once she put my foot in the water and that stung way more than the cuticle incident I was a little concerned. So I took it out to examine it a little more and I told her âThis looks really bad and it hurts. Iâm bleeding!â As itâs just pouring blood out. She didnât seem too concerned. Just grabbed some peroxide and alcohol to clean it then moved on. Since I was with friends and they got done before I did they paid while I was still being tended to. I have video footage of the ladies coming up to her with her cut of the money before I was even done. She got her money and then continued on me. Dirty hands all over me. Since we were almost done I asked her if I could have a bandaid. She wanted to look at it again and then starts rubbing her dirty hands all over my open wound. Then another lady seen what was going on because I had my leg up in the air and she started rubbing and touching the sore too! Absolutely DISGUSTING and inconsiderate...
