Myself and a guest arrived at this restaurant on a Tuesday evening, just minutes after 8pm. As expected, they were steady busy and cars wrapping the drive thru. We waited well over 15 minutes before anyone bothered to take our order. As the young lady started to take our order, she states, "our dining area will be closing at 8:30pm, but you can order to-go." Look at my watch and it's now 8:23pm. We placed our order to go and waited. About 10 minutes later, a different young lady brings our order to us, but did not bring our drinks. I approached the front counter with my receipt and told the young lady about the drinks. She then takes my receipt and goes to the one who originally took my order(she's now working at the drive-thru window), comes back to register, pulls out some money and as she is handing it to me, states "here's you a refund, sorry we're out of drinks." Mind you the 2 drinks were sweet tea and Diet Coke. I could understand being out of one, but two??? But the way she stated it, it was like they were out of all drinks. How does a place of business run out of a high commodity item that you're supposed to be selling??? Next time just be honest with the customer, I'm too lazy and don't want to make your drink!!! You'll be respected better. Atleast you were honest. With customer service this poor, I don't see how someone can walk thru their doors and pay their prices. Some things just don't balance out. I can promise you this, if I had of been her manager, she wouldn't even need to worry about clocking. Just grab your belongings and go!!!! When people come into your establishment, handing you money around the clock, you make sure they leave satisfied, so they return again to hand you more money. I have done business with this restaurant for a long time. The food is great. But I've yet to see food so good, that poor failing customer service is accepted. Poor customer service will make great food mediocre. It may take a length of time, but I will re-visit and hopefully the issue will be resolved. If not, it will indeed be...
Read moreHighly pissed off and upset 😡 1st avoid before I ordered i ask the young lady at the drive thru window was it possible to put my one snow cluster in a pan she stated yes so I proceed to place my order bc one thing about me I dont believe in wasting someone time or mines specially if I can't get my food the way I want it out of respect. I paid for my food which was 29.70 for a snow cluster pan and fried shrimp and pulled foward like I was asked to...so after waiting a young lady comes out and with my food and I noticed the snow crab pan I order is not in a pan and asked her why she than proceed to tell me they dont do that for one snow crab cluster so I responded back well I politely told her I ask the young lady at the window can I get the one snow crabs in a pan instead of a tray she responded yes we can I asked again multiple of times before I completed my order to be sure. So the young lady goes back in to get my refund with my receipt. So than a few minutes later the owner comes out snapping at me because I want my money pack stating they out of pans and he just cook this food and so forth and I stated back to him and I paid for it I would like my money back because I ask if my snow crab can be in a pan before I ordered bc if not I was going to my business some place else due to the fact I can't tell a person how to run or manage their business. But anyways he owner proceeds to tell me not to come back and I responded back thats fine no problem but you cannot get mad me because one person told me another thing before you, but for you as owner to come out yelling aggressively because I wont my money back is insane and telling me not to come back is very unprofessional specially after ive done advertise for this location and spent over thousands of dollars in the last year. So I will not be returning and I will make sure everyone knows how I was treated just because I wanted a refund for something I did not recieved the way I ordered it...no I was I not rude or even raised my voice because I dont entertain ignorance...
Read moreI will probably review again sometime. The staff was great! The restaurant, which was a converted old Taco Bell I think, was super clean. Now, the improvement needed... I used to be in the restaurant business many years ago and must say their sauce was very good ( I ordered the house mild) but the shellfish was soggy meaning they probably boiled it ahead of time and it sat. It was a Tuesday so it probably was a slow night but DO NOT PRE STEAM OR PRE BOIL YOUR SHELLFISH! The crab legs were over cooked because these shells were soft and rubbery and the flesh was soggy. The shrimp were mushy which meant they were over cooked and they mixed old shrimp with newer, yes I can tell the difference. The corn was full of sauce flavor but were soggy, again boiled or steamed too long. The eggs were overly soft and the yokes had grey around them, again over cooked. The sausage were fine but I suggest that they slice them into bite size pieces. The potatoes were overall good but again old mixed with new. Bottom line, Shellfish usually doesn't take long to cook and if they made fresh to order on the shellfish and didn't over cook the sides I could see myself giving them 4-5 ⭐️s. I will definitely try them...
