Osaka Hibachi & Sushi — Restaurant in Tifton

We love Osaka and go here often but we always have trouble ordering the right sushi I like it’s not a very difficult roll but everytime we ask for it it’s like I’m asking for some rare roll. It’s literally a Valdosta roll with crab meat on top of the roll. That’s it. Then they charged me $11 for this one roll I would be more understanding if it was like $8 but $11 for one thing of sushi is outrageous especially since it such a simple kind. Our ticket order said it was $14.47 and we were charged $20.20 for two order of simple Valdosta rolls! That is crazy! We love the owners and know they would not be happy to hear this. Came here for the first time maybe 6 months ago when I moved to GA. and they seemed to be a nice sushi restaurant with decent portions and size sushi. Just went for lunch today and I am very disappointed. The sushi pieces are inconsistant. Some sushi pieces are paper thin and others are thicker cut but don't fit on the roll. The rice has no taste and is dry. Wasabi is not hot either and the ginger seems dried out. I ordered 3 different rolls: fallen angel, rainbow, and king of rock. I couldn't taste the difference between the 3! All really bland. The king and angel roll were supposed to have spicy tuna inside but it wasn't spicy at all and was kind of moosh in my mouth! My husband and I stopped in on our way back home to Miami from Atlanta, Georgia because we were hungry. We lucked out because the restaurant is just a few minutes off 76 making it a 3 minute detour. I had the chicken bowl with teriyaki sauce on the side. My husband had the chicken teriyaki which is slightly more money because it has vegetables. We were both satisfied with the amount of food and the quality of the food. The chicken tasted fresh and the food was tasty. We were pleasantly surprised to find this little place that has just a few tables where you can sit and eat there or you can pick up and take home.
