Disappointed. Came here on a Monday evening for a to-go order, was told it would be a 30 minute wait and waited 30 minutes. Asked the bartender again after 30 minutes like she said and she got angry and said “you need to leave. Right now.” Didn’t even hesitate either.

I am very disappointed with how downhill the service has gone in the past month and a half. A couple of months ago, in September, I would come here every once in a while on Friday nights to sing karaoke when Milo was the KJ and the food was good, all the late night menu offerings were really well done, and the atmosphere was really nice. I am just so distraught because there would be 3-4 workers behind or at the bar and the atmosphere was nice and lively all night, and the few times I have been here recently, service has really gone downhill.

I am hoping to update this review once more staff end up getting hired here that know what they’re doing and they can at the vert least look a customer in the eye and say hello. I am really hopeful that there is some improvement. I really don’t want to be disappointed in this bar, or give any spot a 1-star review at all, it is such a very nice little space and my first two visits here were so good, and I am just disappointed with how downhill it has went in recent months. I got my drink taken and replaced twice because they didn’t know they took my drink, apparently there was a new bartender that didn’t know what they were doing. And then it takes forever to actually get the bartenders attention to get another one ridiculous. Then, when an older lady started saying I was being rude because I was yelling at her, because I am legally deaf in one ear!!! . And I didn’t think much of it until I walked away, and she started screaming about how I was rude. So I came back up to her and tried to apologize and in return got my drink taken again because they thought I had too much to drink after that. Ridiculous.. so if you’re not an old white guy or their women don’t come here not the vibe. Oh, and if you’re kicking butt in pool they don’t like that either. Lol. Came to Home Turf for the first time last night with a karaoke group that visits many venues/bars all over the city, including Dante’s for live band karaoke every week. We were really impressed with KJ Milo. Great voice and energy himself, and manages a list of singers at least 30 long with professionalism and efficiency. He used the board to help singers sound good, something many KJs don’t do, or know how to do. He was even gracious enough to sing a duet with me, which let me sing a song I love. It was very crowded, so we left after 1/2 songs. With such interest, and a great KJ like this, Home Turf should run karaoke more than 1 night a week.
