Mizumi Buffet — Restaurant in Tigard

I'm deathly allergic to fish, Their non fish food, Has massive cross contamination with the fish, I tried to ask what was safe to eat there because thier cheese wontons actually have crab in them, I asked the host she looked at me, and walked away.

No one spoke English at all.

They didn't speak enough English to address a paying customers allergy emergency, Thankfully I speak Spanish too and found a couple Spanish speaking employees Asked my questions, was informed that everything was cross-contaminated that they cook everything in the same pans and that they don't clean the knives before prepping other meats,

There is no warning on this restaurant that it's not safe for people who are allergic to fish there is no customer service that could talk to you about that there is nothing, I didn't refuse to pay because I had my fiance and my dad with me and they were able to eat however I would never go here again, I am severely disappointed in the customer service I received I am severely disappointed in the lack of customer service or any sort of health code following I can't believe that they're even still open, this is not safe for anyone who has any problems with fish whatsoever they have multiple non-fish options at their buffet but nothing is safe cross-contamination is in everything, they should flag this restaurant a pescatarian restaurant and just take out the meat or at least have epipens on hand for customers who aren't universal they're not inclusive , but they are inconsiderate multiple health code violations, I am severely disappointed and have half of mind to talk to the board of restaurants and food distribution about these health code violations and concern of other people's health and mine, got to say that this Hit me hard because I'm 8 months pregnant and having a allergic reaction close to that even can harm me and my baby could have killed me but harmed my baby anyways just from the reaction, it would take a lot for me to consider ever going here again and my family is not interested in their business anymore either so they will definitely be losing out on a lot of...

Just went this weekend with my family for as a treat for me and my family, the food was good as always, but the service was horrible to say the least. The restaurant was not that busy. Yet the service was bad, if anyone needed a drink refill, we had to either get up and go to the place where they serve the drinks in order to get a drink. The alternative was not to get a refill at all. Our empty plates from our table were not picked up, so at the end we had a huge pile of dirty dishes on our table, but the worst part was at the end. We waited for over 10 minutes waiting for someone to bring our check, after a while, I went to pay without the ticket that says how many people were on the table. Because I was tired of waiting for a server. The host asked the server how many people were in our table in a language that wasn't English, which wasn't a problem, we all speak different languages and I respect that, but the part where the woman told me ok. And charged me for an incorrect amount of people, (8 instead of 9) I was unaware of it at the moment, rang me up and had my party get up and we started to leave. The host very angrily snapped at me telling me that she charged me 1 person short and got very angry, I told her that it wasn't my fault that after I had to buzz my own table, get my own drinks, I shouldn't be have to be held liable for double checking her work. I paid for the difference, as i was walking out, the server angrily said something to me that I couldn't understand because it wasn't in English and I can only assume she cursed at me. I've always loved this place but this was a very bitter experience for me and my family. If you ever wanted to experience what it's like to eat inside a dumpster behind a restaurant, this is the place for you. I could not believe how filthy everything was. We had 2 regular tables and a large party table surrounding us that were never bussed our entire meal. They were quick to snatch the tips up but not take the piles of half eaten food and dirty plates away. This continued as you walk to the buffet, dirty filthy tables showing you what people chose not to finish The floors had food that fell off people's plates and anything tile was sticky. The soup station had spills all over the place with half filled bowls thrown around. Don't even get me started on the bathroom, paper towels were out and the bathroom was completely unattended.

The service was strange, the host made absurd suggestions for the way we should sit at our table and the waitress showed up once to drop drinks off and never followed up until I was handed the check.

If the disgusting ambience hasn't killed you yet, the first chicken satay I grabbed was extremely undercooked and loaded with salmonella flavor. Outside that issue the food was decent, not good and not terrible. I will give credit for some interesting options and the sushi was good enough to enjoy.
