I recently visited Brew House in downtown Toledo and was impressed by the beautiful ambiance. The interior is cozy and well-designed, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, my overall experience was disappointing due to the service we received.
We arrived 30 minutes before closing and planned to sit and enjoy our cheesecake. Despite informing the staff, we were handed to-go cups, and our dessert was packed to go, making us feel unwelcome from the start. Throughout our time there, we were given multiple warnings about the time, which felt excessive and rushed. At 2:57 PM, just before closing, we were given a hard time about using the bathroom before leaving, which added to the unpleasant experience.
Additionally, a staff member began sweeping right next to our table a5 240pm, while we were still eating, which felt rude and inconsiderate. I understand the importance of closing on time, but the way it was handled made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers.
Unfortunately, due to this experience, I wouldn’t return. It’s a shame because the ambiance and potential for a great visit were there, but the rushed and dismissive service...
Read moreI have been to their Maumee coffee shop just when Coffee quest was going on for my stamp. I like the store but living downtown it's too big of a hassle to get to with all the other cool coffee houses downtown.
Love their coffee and it's great that a place downtown has Nitro and being a downtown resident love that they are open late.
Nice place with a great staff and food and coffee and the speakeasy is really cool.
Couple reasons for dinging them and only giving four stars. The speakeasy isn't accessible. And even though the city requires all new use businesses to have bike parking there is no bike parking. With all the downtown residents were have now and the group bike rides they need to have bike parking. This morning Maddie and Bella got my business when I was out biking because there was no place to park my bike.
This isn't the fault of the business, but parking is also hard to find in the...
Read moreI absolutely adore the atmosphere at The Brew House downtown; it holds a special place in my heart. The staff was prompt in bringing my drink and sandwich to the table, allowing me to settle in and catch up on some early morning work. However, I must admit that my experience was hampered by the slow Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, I found myself frequently encountering the frustrating ⌛️ symbol while attempting to work. Consequently, I had to cut my visit short as soon as I finished my meal and drink.
Despite this setback, I appreciate the ambiance and overall hospitality at The Brew House. In fact, I'm already planning to return next month to host a team morning meeting. With a bit of improvement in their Wi-Fi speed, it will undoubtedly be the perfect spot for our gathering. I sincerely hope they address this issue, as it would greatly enhance the overall experience for...
