Wild Side Downtown — Restaurant in Toledo

Came to Wild Side downtown on a Wednesday about a month ago and they had a half price pizza special. Came back on another Wednesday this week with a large group. Sat down and the waitress told our group that the pizza was half price. We ordered a couple orders of cheese bread and the charcuterie board. These came out relatively quick and were pretty good. The wild game meat had mixed reviews but was presented nicely. When it was time to order our entrees, the waitress came and said that the pizza was not half price at the downtown restaurant and only Grand Rapids. This was disappointing since we already had ordered apps and several drinks. Nonetheless we ordered multiple pizzas, pork wings and a grinder. The food all came out in a decent amount of time and was very good. The pizza here has a slightly spicy sauce, not sweet, but very good flavor. Members of our group enjoyed the pork wings as well. I like to support local restaurants. It was very rainy day, so business appeared slow @ dinner time except for the people at the bar. Our initial server took our order & the food was good, but they got my order wrong. I accepted the pizza that they made. The server did correct it by giving me 50% off the pizza. We later had a different server who came to the table. Someone ordered another drink that she did not bring, but she did bring the cheesecake that we ordered. The server brought a box for the pizza & the receipts twice, as some of the the orders were on the wrong check. In the end, the checks were still wrong, but we kept things as they were after that. Our group waited a while & no one came back to the table to finalize our bill, so we went back up to the bar to pay. Our original server was working at the bar.
