1:15 pm today (9/28/24) ordered the chicken wrap combo NO SALT on my fries & absolutely NO RANCH it isn't that hard I promise you it isn't. I walked out with my only to turn back around to kindly let the staff know my order was incorrect. The gentleman that rung me up was very nice & made sure to clarify with me what I wanted & even walked towards the kitchen to make sure they heard what the order was correctly before I left. So when I came back he asked what was wrong & I told him even with a smile on my face the issue. He didn't look happy & made it clear again what my order was. While I am waiting on my wrap & fries, the wrap was ready but the fries I had to wait on fresh ones due to salt already being on the batch that was made (that was fine I can wait). The cashier (gentleman) came & to ask me why I was still waiting & asked if the wrap was done. Before I could answer the young lady who remade my wrap for me had a whole attitude about how it was already done yet no one was even talking to her so she could have piped all the way down. I explained to her & him I waiting on my fries not the wrap no one is even talking about the wrap anyways.... she made a big deal about how she fixed it just for me to open it AND STILL SEE RANCH ON IT FOR A SECOND TIME. When I called to point out at this point I just want my money back bscause this is ridiculous. I was told it's their policy for me to bring the receipt & the food back, mind you I ate the fries they were made correctly no issue the second time. When I said I can't just come right back I don't live on the said of town she wanted me to hold on to the food until tomorrow to bring it in, I said that's gross she said that's their policy. Read moreI order breakfast food, didn't think to check the bag for items because I shouldn't have to second guess whether they did their job. Get home realize i'm missing items. This is the second straight visit I've had issues with my order. I call and the manager said he can get me the items I didn't receive. I told the manager that does not change the fact that I have to go out of my way for their mistake, and waste gas to drive down there onky to receive my items they did not put in my bag. He said I can refund the entire order if I wanted to come down to the store. I drive down to the store and then the manager proceeds to only refund me the items I did not receive, going back on his word about refunding me. Not only that, customer service was extremely poor. The only polite staff I spoke to that didn't sound upset or irritated, was the cook. To be honest, I'd rather never go to that location again, nor will I recommend this location to anyone. Food was cold and not even hot. When they handed me my drinks, there was pop dripping down the cup, into my car. So I had to wipe my car off by the window to prevent it from being sticky. That is their job to make sure what they hand me is ready for me to receive. Read moreI went to Wendy's on Wannamaker in Topeka at 7:35 pm to eat in and they just closed the dining room early and wouldn't let me in. Now, they were open before that but decided to close the dining room early, I'm sure not because they had to but because it was easier to close it early so they did, right as I was at the door trying to come in. I'm thru with Wendy's in Topeka because this happens all the time. It's not like there are 20 or 30 people wanting to get into the dining room but only one person (and only one person there already). It's obvious management feels they can ignore the dining room hours and rules and do what they want, even if it annoys and makes a customer angry - and this is done daily in Topeka. Wendy's in Lawrence doesn't operate like that and you can ALWAYS count on the dining room being open til 8 like it's suppose but obviously in Topeka, Wendy's management do what they want and routinely and daily ignore dining room hours and close it. It's obviously they don't value dine-in customers nor care what they think and it shows. And I don't believe they were shorthanded. If they operated with the dining room open before 7:35 pm, I'm sure they could have left it open til 8 pm when it's suppose to close. It was not exceptionally busy in the drive thru at the time, maybe 2 or 3 cars and that's all. No more Wendy's in...
