We had our son’s birthday party at Nutmeg Fudge Company and could not have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, everything was seamless, fun, and stress-free.

The party space in the back was perfect for 10 kindergartners to run around, play, and just be kids. Kristy was an incredible host—her energy and enthusiasm kept the kids engaged with fun games like freeze dance and musical chairs. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a blast. And the ice cream cake? Hands down the best we’ve ever had!

I saw the bright colors of this building from afar and was craving sweets, so I had to check it out. The decor was very cute inside. There were a couple of booths and a TV. There were many options to choose from; fudge, ice cream, candy, smoothies, milkshakes, and baked goods.

I had the cookies and cream fudge and a chocolate covered peanut butter Ritz cracker. My son had a cake pop and I had a bite, both were good! There were all random flavors of fudge to choose from. I wasn't a fan of the rocky road fudge I picked because it was crunchy and not buttery smooth like the fudge I've had before; I am not sure if it was stale or if that's what the consistency should feel like. Nutmeg Ice Cream is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Torrington. The ice cream is always rich, creamy, and packed with flavor — you can truly taste the quality in every scoop. They have a fantastic variety of flavors, from classic favorites to fun seasonal options, and it’s nearly impossible to pick just one! Their fudge is AMAZING too!

The staff is always warm and welcoming, happy to let you try a sample and patient while you make the tough decision of what to get. The place has such a friendly, small-town feel that makes every visit special.
