Vinny's Restaurant & Pizza — Restaurant in Torrington

Quite possibly the absolute worst pizza I have ever had in my entire life…. I love you. I ordered a very simple pizza without tomato sauce of any kind because I’m highly lower, but absolutely everything about a pizza that just had cheese on. It was the most disgusting, tough, and difficulty not to mention investigation. There was no flavor whatsoever that remotely resembled a simple old-fashioned pizza…., I am new to the area and I am giving every single place a fair shot, but what I received was complete garbage and honestly, I think the cardboard box it came in might will have tasted it better. I would certainly not recommend this place whatsoever.….. Forget the fact that I paid $30 for pizza that had nothing on it except for cheese, bacon and mushroom. There is no tomato sauce. There were on our side choices and there is nothing I can do to it at this point to make it remotely edible, even my dog Would not have eaten it… Nobody would’ve ever taken a chance on offering it to him because I love him too much, but definitely a no...

I called to order pizza for delivery and they took down my phone number and asked for my address like usual. I waited for my food to arrive and then it was now over an hour and still nothing. I called and told them I had ordered and still hadn't recieved my pizza and she said oh we dont have your address but she asked for it when I first called. At this point i was upset i gave her my address again and hung up. A few minutes later i called and told them i was coming to get my pizza because i had waited over an hour. I love Vinnys Pizza but I'm pretty upset because my husband and kids had been waiting to eat and at this time it was already 830pm and I called at 7pm. I understand people make mistake but once I arrived at Vinny they accused me of changing my mind saying that I said it was for pickup and then called in and gave them my address. No Communication what so ever with the customer, I ordered a large Pepperoni Pizza with Bacon, Chicken Finger meal with fries and a carrot cake. They informed me they ran out of carrot cake okay no biggie got a cheesecake instead, meal comes and no fries, call them up and they say they ran out of fries so they gave me extra chicken... I didn't want extra chicken I told her on the phone it wasn't her fault but if I would of known I would of cancled order and took my business to Joey's there a little more expensive but I would of gotten Everything that I wanted also after I got off the phone I ate some chicken and some of the chicken was dry, such a freaking waste for $17 on just chicken, the pizza was not bad though I won't take that away from them.
