Riverwatch dining — Restaurant in Town of Alexandria

There is a limited pub menu for Riverwatch dining which is located in the river edge resort. The bartender was the only one working in was quite friendly and did a great job considering how he was trying to run the bar and bring food from the kitchen to the tables outside the bar area. It’s a nice atmosphere in really beautiful looking bar area. The menu is limited as it is has a variety of things and pretty much anyone can find some thing off of it really. It’s got the normal chicken wings chicken tenders mixed in with a few dinner dishes as well.

Now Our food it’s self was mediocre really but I think it would’ve been better if we had ordered something else has other meals around us look pretty decent. One person from our party ordered the chicken fingers with chipotle sauce on them. The sauce was so hot their food was inedible for them. Would’ve been nice to have a heads up about that before hand since that usually isn’t that hot of a sauce but in addition to that they were overcooked to the point where they were almost like cardboard in the fries were freezing cold when they came. The wings were OK, no major complaints.

Basically if you need a quick bite to eat after a long day it’s not a bad place to grab some thing but I certainly wouldn’t tell you that you had to come here to...

We’re visiting in the offseason and after striking out at some of the restaurants in town, we came here more by default than anything, as we’re staying at the hotel. So I went in with pretty low expectations, which thankfully were well surpassed. Angie was the only server working the whole restaurant and she did so without breaking a sweat - a true pro.
