When they say, "The Best Sub You've Ever Had," they're not kidding. This place is darn close to perfect. The bread makes the sub, and DiBella's makes the best bread. My favorite is the sesame, but no matter what type of bread you like, DiBella's makes it best. Don't even try to argue with me because you'll lose.
My go-to is the turkey on sesame with light mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, banana peppers, and provolone cheese. If I'm eating alone, I get a small, and that's really almost too much sandwich for me.
The only thing that would make it better, in my opinion, is if the peppers were raw. I would love to have the option of fresh, raw green peppers. Unfortunately for me, all the peppers they offer are of the cooked variety. I'd also love some avocado on my sub, but that's not an option either. Not yet, anyway. They didn't used to offer cucumbers, and they do now, so maybe those things will be offered in the future.
My husband is a big fan of olives; I am not. We often get a medium and split it (it's a gigantic medium). Because I don't even want the olives to TOUCH anything on my side of the sandwich, I ask for the olives on the side. They give them to me in a small cup, which makes us both happy. No olives on my side of the sandwich, and he gets more olives than he probably would have gotten if they'd put them straight onto the sandwich.
And make sure to join Club Bread! It's free to join, and you don't have to carry around another card. You can just give them your phone number at the register. I've been a member about a year, I guess. So far I've gotten a free drink, two free chocolate chip cookies, a free meal upgrade, a free meal, and a free small sub. All this because I eat at...
Read moreWhile my first time eating here was via takeout about a week ago, the atmosphere inside this location was adorably vintage with a cool, diner style vibe. The workers were kind, helpful, and accommodating, and while both the atmosphere and the workers were on point, one of the most important things; the food, exceeded my hopes (and tastebuds) for trying a new sub place. We got 50% off our first online order (either through the app or the website), and when my fiance didn't immediately get his 50% offer sent to him, the customer service was great, and they still gave us the discount at the register in store. The subs though? Absolutely amazing. We both got large cheese subs and all I can say is, if you love humongous serving sizes, fresh, quality, ingredients, and appreciate solid presentation when it comes to your meals, you'll really love it here. And for a large sub, there's so much sub, that I end up having to save my other half until the next day (2 meals for one price is a win in my book). We are vegetarians and so the cheese sub is our one and only favorite but it had us back a 2nd time later in the week. We also tried the pre prepared Grandma DiBella's cookies, because they offered me 2 free birthday cookies through the app/my email, since it was my birth month (another show of awesome customer appreciation) and they were some of the best cookies ever (I had the oatmeal raisin and my fiance had the white macadamia nut) Anyway, stop reading this and if you're looking for a new place to try amazing subs, just go here and...
Read moreWent to dibellas for a small party. I ordered a party tray (had to pay for some of the sides like hot peppers)largest, sub, a medium sub, antipasto salad, and 2lbs. of potato salad. 1st thing that went wrong was that they did not give lettuce or tomato for the subs. 2nd most had only 2 thin slices of meat, when the party tray subs were a ham, ham/salami/capicola & turkey/ham/capicola, so i didn't even get the 3 meats allotted for my subs! Then I call, Scott the manager tells me they did forget to give the lettuce & tomato that I need to drive 20 mins away to grab it, which at this point is serving time! I say I can't with all these people here and his answer was "Sorry, but its not like you paid for it". ACTUALLY I DID WHEN I ORDERED SUBS FOR MY PARTY FROM YOU!! Appalled by the rudeness, I waited for him to offer a credit or something, even driving the lettuce to me, nothing just sorry and a hang up. The food was not as good as it use to be. When I went to ecc I ate at dibellas all the time. Now I dont even want to go back to use my sub rewards!! Bad customer service with so so food= not...
