Oscar's Frozen Custard | Waukesha — Restaurant in Town of Brookfield

This is sort of a mixed review. While Oscars does have delicious custard, the food is mediocre at best. The meat that they use for their burgers is about the same quality that I received in elementary public school. On more than one occasion I bit into my food (California Burger) and the best way to describe it was there were Grizzle bites in my food. The Patty also tastes like it had been cooking on burnt Grease. The cheese curds could be wrung out with all the grease that was left in them. And also had a burnt grease taste. It tasted like the fryer grease hadn't been changed and quite some time. I think that's quite unfortunate that they have such an extensive menu but yet seem to lack the quality that they strive to achieve. And if you can look past all of that, try not to pass any judgment on the condescending teenagers that are taking your order. The staff seems to be put off by the fact that they have to do their job to take care of the guest. It's almost as if you're inconveniencing them ( employees).

My first and last time coming to this location I’ve never had any problems at any of the Milwaukee locations. I ordered chicken tenders for my 2 year old. The first order were super raw and gooey inside. I returned them and you can tell they got upset but recooked them. Then the second order were just gross super hard on the outside and the inside was just gross it almost seem like it was pieces of nerves, bones and chicken mashed together. So at this point I just requested a refund and the manager became really upset and said he was not going to issue a refund because we were the only ones who are continuously being picky and he wasted $30 of chicken that went to the garbage. Keep in mind the first time was not my fault and neither was the last but that’s totally fine I just won’t be returning. And now I know why everyone who came in to eat was just to get ice...

I came cause I had a craving for some ice cream. I went through the drive thru. I got the flavor of the day, brownie blast, in a waffle cone. It was ok. I didn't expected this syrup in it, which I expected to be a Carmel, ended up tasting more like a pecan pie filling. I didn't like the mix. Preferred the ice cream without that filling. it was just a bit much. Also the waffle cone was a bit stale! You can taste that it was made a while ago. It wasn't fresh. There was no crunch to the cone. Service was ok. Guy was fine taking my order. He was upbeat and cheerful.
