I recently had the pleasure of dining at Friendly's, and I must say, the experience was elevated significantly by our server, Grace. From the moment we were greeted, her warm smile and friendly demeanor instantly made us feel welcome.
Grace's attentiveness was remarkable. She came to our table promptly after we were seated, offering us a chance to look over the menu while ensuring we had everything we needed. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive; she provided insightful recommendations and was more than happy to answer any questions we had. You could tell that she genuinely cared about our dining experience.
What stood out the most was her ability to balance efficiency with a personal touch. Our drinks arrived quickly, and she checked in regularly without being intrusive. Grace made sure we were enjoying our meals and offered refills promptly, which is always appreciated.
When it came time to order, Grace guided us through the menu with enthusiasm. She highlighted some of her favorite dishes, and her passion for the food was contagious. I chose the classic cheeseburger, and it was deliciously cooked to perfection, paired with crispy fries. Grace even took the time to follow up after our meals arrived to ensure everything was to our liking.
Another highlight was how Grace handled a small hiccup when one of our orders was slightly incorrect. She took immediate ownership of the issue, apologized sincerely, and offered to fix it right away, which impressively showcased her dedication to customer satisfaction.
Throughout our meal, Grace maintained a friendly and upbeat attitude, sharing a few light-hearted jokes and stories that made our experience even more enjoyable. By the time we were ready for dessert (who can resist Friendly's famous ice cream?), we felt like we were leaving with a new friend rather than just having had a meal.
Overall, Grace made our dining experience at Friendly's truly memorable. Her blend of professionalism, attentiveness, and friendliness left a lasting impression. I would wholeheartedly recommend visiting Friendly's and hoping to be served by Grace. She is a gem and certainly enhances the welcoming atmosphere of...
Read moreMy experience at this Friendly’s was beyond disappointing last night (12/19). My family came here to celebrate my son’s birthday. I called the restaurant ahead of time to see if they were busy because we were going to be a party of 10 (4 kids/6adults) The lady on the phone said not at all. We got there at 5:15, there was only one other family in the restaurant and they had already been served. Perfect. The negative experience already started out when our waitress was very unfriendly and instead of moving down the table to take everyone’s order, she made my grandmother and other family members shout their order from the other side of the table. Kinda annoying but whatever. About 30-40 minutes of being at this establishment, about 4 more tables now had people. We see their waitress being very attentive but ours seemed to just disappear for most of the evening. We then see two of those tables who came in well after us getting their food…not a big deal, I understand we’re a lot of people. Then, the 3rd and 4th table who came in OVER 30 minutes after us got served! The one and only time we saw our waitress she keeps saying “you’re food is still cooking”. How?! We ordered the most basic foods…half of the order was kids meal mac & cheese, one thing was a turkey sandwich, and the rest were basic cheeseburgers! Our waitress was beyond rude and honestly had zero concern. Not to mention, we were her only customer!! The waitress for the other 5+ tables got their food out so quickly and was always checking on them. We were so upset at this point we ended up leaving and having to go across the street to Mcdonald’s because everyone was so hungry from waiting. I really wish I knew our waitresses name because she had zero customer service skills…I would’ve been okay if she at least came to check on us, or said anything...
