I usually hate posting negative reviews cause it makes me feel like a karen but the service at this place was one of the worse I have ever received at any business. For starters I was the only person standing in line and it took the workers 2 whole minutes just to acknowledge me. And it's not like they were busy, they were just standing in the back looking at their phones and talking with each other. Once one of the employees finally decided to take my order they told me they only had regular sized subs but he was mumbling his words and was looking at his coworker when he said it, so I couldn't understand him and thought he was talking to his coworker and not me. I ended up asking for a large Philly and out of nowhere a bearded employee in the back started going off on me and was yelling "CAN'T YOU HEAR! THE GUY JUST TOLD YOU WE ONLY HAVE REGULAR SIZED SANDWICHES!" Then he eye rolled me and started mean mugging me for no reason. And the guy taking my order started chuckling cause I guess scaring off potential customers is funny to them. I ended up leaving and walked right across the food court to Subway where the service was 100 times better. I worked in hospitality for years and I know the challenges of working in this industry and I'm typically very understanding of slow or bad service. But this whole experience was just terrible. And I highly doubt management is gonna do anything about it considering that previous reviews are highlighting the same exact problems I'm highlighting. I don't see myself returning to this Charleys anytime soon and I highly encourage anybody thinking of eating here to go to another sandwich shop cause the service here is...

My boyfriend and I have basically stopped coming here altogether purely because the experience with the staff is a new terrible every single time. Iāve heard a cook yell over my head while cooking my food to her friend about ābuying an 8thā (cmon), Iāve had the same sandwich made probably 5 different timesā (one time they put the meat right on the bread, THEN mayo, then lettuce, then MORE mayo (why) and the girl handed it to me and literally told me I would have to eat it with a fork because it was so messy. Every time I go down the line, I have to keep repeating my order (which is always to-go) and they still almost always stuff it in an eat-in basket/tray and then have to move the entire sandwich haphazardly to a to-go box. The staff are not friendly, and they carry very uncomfortable and honestly just inappropriate conversations in front of customers.

Quite sad as the job is not hard and I know this from experience managing fast food myself. I would never let my employees slack off and get paid for standing around and doing nothing for their last 1 to 2 hours they were supposed to be open and providing food service like they should. They are the only fast food in the mall that never closes they will. I have shown up at 5pm and the hours for them is to close at 6. They closed the register on me and said they close at 5. Clearly I show them the hours saying they have an hour till they close. They had the audacity to tell me that they did not care that I was waiting patiently in line and decided to deny service because they didn't want to work anymore for the day.
