I will start by saying that if I came here by myself and other “big eaters”, this would easily be a 4.5 star review. But I came with the wife and kids and they were not happy customers.
The biggest problem here is that almost every dish is heavily sauced, when it doesn’t need to be. Lightly sauced could be tolerable, but for a kid that enjoys the taste of salmon, he could not stomach the dish because it was swimming in sauce (dad pun ~ intended). Even the noodles had sauce that was too sweet. The only thing that the kids enjoyed from the Kids hibachi menu was the fried rice which had no sauce, just very nicely fried rice. Even the hibachi steak I ordered from the all you can eat menu had way too much sauce; I would recommend putting the sauce on the side so the customer can control how much sauce they will eat.
The service was nice and the restaurant itself was neat and spaced out very well.
Disclaimer: if you are looking for a full Hibachi experience, this place does not offer that. They cook the food Hibachi style in the kitchen, there is no chef that will cook the food at your table as they do not have Hibachi style tables for customers to dine around.
Now on to the good. Their sushi rolls are excellent. If you order the all you can eat sushi rolls, they seem to be the same quality as the other rolls that are al la carte. I ordered about three different rolls (spicy bincho, something that had a wasabi sauce, and a yellowtail roll) and enjoyed each one. I also had the shrimp tempura which was light and fried perfectly. The green tea ice cream was also very good.
If I were to come back knowing what to expect with others that can eat three-four rolls, this will be an...
Read moremy boyfriend and I have been coming here since they first open and used to absolutely love it. It’s been a while since we came and were craving it. Unfortunately, it has gone downhill. The sushi was falling apart and not fresh. tempura was sooo dry, but soggy at the same time? and it took about30 minutes in between each dish for us to get some of what we ordered. We were there for two hours and barely got any of the food that we ordered and never got a refill of water, And was given someone else’s order multiple times because the servers didn’t know where to go. it was very stressful. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I know it’s tough, but it was wild when they blamed us and said we put in our sheet late. when the two tables sitting around us gave their sheet in after us and got all their food before us. No one apologized for the mishap and we left feeling scammed having to pay when we barely got food. I unfortunately will not be returning and it’s a bummer cause this place...

Pro: Food was excellent!!! Sushi rolls were delicious and sashimi was fresh.
Con: There was ONE person responsible for the ENTIRE dining room. She was the hostess, the lone waitress taking orders, acting as a bartender, food runner, bussing the tables, the bathroom attendant adding TP as well as cleaning tables. 2 hours to get 2 plates with 4 rolls and sashimi. It took us almost 40 minutes to receive 1 salad after shumai and edamame; 2nd salad wasn't brought until requested.
Overall: Service was not great. Did not receive all rolls requested. Others that came in after us received their food 1st. They were very understaffed. Poor girl was clearly overwhelmed. The 2 sushi chefs were working non-stop.
Willing to give it 1 more chance. Hopefully they'll have more staff...
