I fell in love with this bookstore over the weekend. What first appears to be a tiny shop, is deceptively large on the inside with huge variety. I was so excited to find SO many beautiful editions of classics among the latest best sellers. The owner was so friendly and helpful. He described one of my picks-Whalefall by Daniel Kraus, as incredibly detailed and expertly researched. His enthusiasm was infectious and I knew I couldn’t leave without it. Also, as an avid supporter of local bookshops, I have to say this was one of the most reasonably priced independent stores I have ever been to. Thank you, Chris! I can’t wait...

During my first visit to Tarrytown a few months ago, I stumbled upon this charming bookstore, a hidden gem in the heart of the town. The exterior may seem unassuming, but the real magic lies within, especially when interacting with the staff. Great new bookshop on Main St in Tarrytown. Browsing the shelves here is fun...the amount of overlap between what they carry and what I enjoy, have read, and want to read is higher than most bookstores I've been to.

The owner is very kind and helpful. Ask him for recommendations--he has a wide breadth of knowledge across many genres.

You can also email to order books in advance and pick them up at the store, including books that haven't been released yet. Nice way to support a local shop instead of ordering...
