Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Town of Hamburg

It is very difficult to find somewhere that everyone agrees on when it comes to picking up a quick bite to eat for dinner that is good quality and satisfying….Enter Jersey Mikes on Mckinley Pkwy in Blasdell. I am very satisfied with the overall attentiveness and care that Izzy (not the manager Izzy) put into the three sandwiches my kids and I had for dinner this evening. She was friendly the staff were very efficient and helpful. Having everything freshly sliced and put together with care is not always what anyone receives when they choose to dine out for subs etc.

My Udis gluten free roll (and cookies) were fresh and the staff are very conscious of cross contamination practices.

Chad the manager on duty as well as Izzy and the other staff members were friendly and took a few moments to chat before the rush. I promote supporting local but I do have to say it’s not often I’m impressed with a chain and especially one that checks all the right boxes and one we all agree on. Sat Nov 8 made second visit for lunch at McKinley store. We had hoped 2nd visit would have proven to improve 1st experience. SANSWICHS GREAT!!!. SERVICE & PREPERATION SOME OF THE WORST WEVE EVER EXPERIENCED.. STARTING with COMMUNICATION BETWEEN STAFF. ORDER TAKING TO PREPARERS misererible. Time for order to pick up Misererible . People waited in line 20- 30 minutes (you arnt that busy!) One table didn't get 1 of 4 orders right. A staff was replenishing the chip rack by squeezing th potato chip bags crushing th chips to fit in maximizing stock. On shelf when carefully advising her she defiantly told me that she puffed the chip back up when stuffing crushed bags in rack. . We do really enjoy you food but will not bother coming back or recommending others until you demonstrate retrained staff. TmSincerey...

Sub was delicious, only reason it got a second star. Ordered online and was told 15 minute wait and the two subs I ordered would be done. Showed up to the store 17 minutes later, then continued to wait for an additional 40 minutes in the store and watched close to or around 15 people walk in and be served then sent on there way. I asked the person running checkout if it was done around 15 minutes into waiting (30 mins give or take total time from ordering) and he read the ticket and said "not yet" then carried on. Then I asked another employee at around the 40 minute in store waiting time (approx. 57 minutes from placing my order) and she had the cook finish it finally. Subs were very good but won't be returning, Firehouse Subs only in the future...
