Run down, old and the help are off in their own worlds. I waited at the cash register for 5 minutes while 2 employees swept the floors and took phone orders. I was the only person at the counter. Nobody greeted me or even acknowledged I was there. Finally I had to say, “Hello?? Am I invisible or something??” When I did order, I said, “Could I get a sesame nova begal?” She pulled it out, put lox spead on it, put it in a bag and started ringing me up. I opened the bag and didn’t see any nova on it. I asked, “Where’s the nova??” “You asked for lox spread.” she replied. “No. I asked for nova and even pointed to it on the menu above you.” So even when she gave me her attention she still wasn’t listening. After living on LI for 40 years and moving away, I was looking forward to delicious bagels while visiting family! What a disappointment! First, the woman with the reddish hair taking my order had her earbuds in the entire time and was having a conversation with someone. I guess that's why she had me repeat my order 4 times. I ordered a bacon, egg & cheese to eat while waiting for the bagels and the bagel was dry and the bacon was burnt. Service was also very slow for a Tuesday.
