Be-Bop Bagel — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

The son is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I mean completely discourteous!. On several occasions my staff has ordered food from here and he has hanged up the phone on us; told us to hurry up when making an order, kissed his teeth when we ask what's the purchase total etc. etc. His excuse for his poor mannerisms is that it's busy. Which i found to be untrue bc when actually going into the store their was literally one individual in there. On top that, that same individual was complaining that he had been waiting for a while for his order. Instead of fixing his behavior he's so quick to say " don't order again". NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I HAD TO DEAL WITH DISRESPECT FROM ANY DELI! All the delis in the neighborhood treat their costumers with respect. Moving forward my company will inconvenience ourselves to order elsewhere. I WILL SAY THAT THEIR DELIVERY GUY IS EXTREMELY SWEET, COURTEOUS AND...

This place is no longer be bop bagel it's now main Street deli. I love the new owners. The one lady that does the cooking is a doll and the guy that is the owner is great and hard working. Nice customer service. If I had 2 bad things to say. It's that they are slow. Really need more cooks, especially when it's lunchtime. Most people get just a hour for lunch and don't want to spend 40 minutes on their food. The second thing is one time I got a burger and it was way over cooked and I think it was because they got overwhelmed and left it on the grill too long, wish I would've checked it before I left because I would've returned it. But I won't doom them for that. It was only one time. Salads are fresh. I see they have a meat business in the back now, hope they do well. Glad the other owner's ( when it was Bebop) is gone. That guy had a terrible attitude and his food...
