Nasty employee! Went to shop there because website says store is open. Apparently it is curb side pickup only! Web site is wrong! Sign says order online. Another sign says call to order. Pick up in 2 hours. Couldn't get through on the phone after seveal attempts while I sat outside the store so I ordered online. I needed wine for my sauce which was coking on my stove. Waited two hours and went to pick up my order. Female employee comes out with orders but not mine. She takes my name and says it is not ready. I ask when will it be ready and was told 24 to 48 hours. I was shocked be cause I didn't see that on the order on line site so I said that is no good I won't be here to pick it up. I had a flight to catch the next day. She replied Oh well and I said I want a refund her reply was to shut the door. I tried to get someone's attention but it was just her looking at me. So I knocked on the door and finally the manager came out. I said the sign says 2 hour pickup . He explained that is only for phone orders and they get a thousand online orders a day and only have eight employees. I said give me a refund I will not be here to pick up order. I also complained that their website says are supposed to be open not curb side pickup only! Liquor stores are one of the stores considered essential. So it should have been open or at least fix their website! I was told fine on the refund. As I started to walk away the same female employee comes out of the store walks into the parking lot which is full of customers and yells at me as I am walking to my car "you need to go to AA"! I replied I would take my business else where even though I have been shopping at their store since they 1st opened. Totally inappropriate for a liquor store employee to yell in the liquor store parking lot in which they work. I will not be patronizing Cappy's. Still haven't gotten my...
Read moreExcellent wine collection. They even have an aisle for Organic wine! Beautiful decor. One thing though, the service is not as 5 star as the place. We asked the workers for help twice on 3 separate occasions recently.. and we got an attitude by the staff.. They seem to prefer to just put the wine out on the racks and not have to be social or be bothered with helping out the customers with their knowledge. The staff at the register also have an attitude ..encountered two different members... One time We asked for extra gift bags since we had forgotten to get some for our last set of wines we bought here but the lady said "I already put enough gift bags in there" then we said "Oh, thank you but we need more just because we have more wines in the car without gift bags bc we forgot to ask when we came two days earlier" with an attitude she threw four more gift bags in the bag... didn't ask how many we needed which was 8.. But we didn't fuss about it. Just went on our way to another wine store and asked for bags. If you couldn't care any less about the staff's attitude and just want the wine.. this store can be an awesome place to go to. We continue to return...
Read moreI’ve visited this store several times in the past, but unfortunately, my latest experience was incredibly disappointing. During my visit, I felt uncomfortable and disrespected by the staff. The service I received seemed to be influenced by my race, as I noticed a stark difference in how I was treated compared to other customers.
I was ignored for long periods, and when I did get assistance, the staff's attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. It was a stark contrast to how I saw other patrons being greeted and treated with courtesy. As a loyal customer, I expected better, and it was disheartening to feel that my business wasn’t valued simply because of my background.
I hope the store takes these concerns seriously and works to provide a more inclusive and respectful environment for all customers. I would like to give this business another chance, but at this point, I’m unsure if I...
