Came into dodici with my fiancĂ© for date night. The atmosphere was great and we were greeted and sat right away. The food was good but service was a little iffy in that we didn’t have the correct amount of silverware after we were sat and had to ask the waiter more than once for a drink menu & a fork, which is not a huge deal and would have been overlooked except that when I went to pay, I put cash in the book and while we were both in the process of drinking espresso (aka my mouth was full of coffee) the waiter came back and said “thanks very much guys” and quickly walked away rather than asking if I needed change. And I did need change. I was going to tip him at least 20% but he took it upon himself to give himself another 6 dollars which, I know doesn’t sound like a lot which is why I didn’t go find him and ask for the change, but it left a really bad taste in my mouth about the whole experience. So where we’d originally said we’d go back, now I’m not so sure. I’ve never had this happen, even if you think it’s your tip, you should ask if someone needs change...

We went for my birthday; and not only was the food amazing, the service was top-notch! We had a Caesar salad for two and a risotto ball for an appetizer. Both were very well made. My husband got a chicken parmesan, off the menu, and the cutlet was huge and wonderfully tender. The sauce was very good as well. I got the Orecchiette Pugliesi, which is ear pasta (cooked al dente), sausage, broccoli rabe, a few olives and garlic and oil. It was excellent! They brought me a brownie with whipped cream and ice cream for a birthday dessert (complimentary) and offered me a gift certificate for our next visit. Great place!

I wouldn't say it's pricey; the bill came to just over $100 and we did have drinks. It was worth every penny. They offer the same menu at cheaper prices for lunch. There is outdoor seating in the warmer months.

I highly recommend Dodici. It has a warm, cozy environment. Even though there were a a lot of people dining, I couldn't really hear the conversations of others. There is also a party room...

Just had the chance to eat here on Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend, and I couldn’t even wait to leave a review. Everything tasted so fresh, and the service was amazing! Definitely try the baked clams if you can. I also want to give a special shout-out to our server, Billy. I had asked if it was possible to have my entree without prosciutto, and he said that wouldn’t be a problem. When it came with prosciutto, I was just picking it out of the way. Billy came to check on us and saw this. I went to tell him that I would be fine, picking it off the plate, but he insisted on grabbing the dish, taking it back, and bringing me a new plate without any prosciutto on top. I appreciate that he was so willing to go out of his way to help me observe Ash Wednesday and to keep my dinner for tonight meatless. The crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e is to die for as well! I will definitely be back. If the entrees are this good without meat, I can only...

This is a place my mom told me about often. It was my first time here today. The lady at the front desk was friendly. Our waiter Eric was nice and checked on us. The bread in the basket was HEAVENLY!! it was so light like eating a cloud. the olive oil’s rich flavor complemented it perfectly. The calamari was nice, the sauce was spicy and suited it well. I had the Amore Panini. The bread was great, the prosciutto was flavorful and not so salty like some ive had before. My mother ordered Bronzini, her regular. She said it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. For dessert I had the cherry gelato and god it was unlike any gelato i had before. It put Ben and Jerrys to SHAME!! The cherries were so juicy. My mother had the tiramisu. She says its well made and delicious. Overall it was a comfortable atmosphere and I would 100% return.

Im an Italian visiting in the US, and generally when I’m outside of the country I avoid eating in Italian restaurants and prefer to enjoy local food. But my son wanted some pasta and so we decided to try this place out, and definitely found it above expectations. The pasta was cooked perfectly (for Italians this is a very important point), the quality of the products was definitely high and even the presentation of the dishes was pleasant. Their wine selection was also surprising and not overpriced as in other places. The service was also eccellente. Our waiter helped us throughout the entire meal.
