Season 52 is a spectacular restaurant and wine bar chain that offers guests a smooth dining experience in a very relaxed setting.
It also offers a great menu filled with various delicious meal options that include fresh and local seasonal ingredients.
Founded and owned by Darden Restaurant in 2003, Season 52 has over 40 locations across the United States.
In March of 2025, I brought and treated my wife and myself for dinner at Season 52, specifically the branch based in Garden City, New York and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and service.
The staff graciously welcomed us when we arrived, and quickly provided us with a very expansive and comfortable dining table.
Both my wife and I were deeply impressed by the restaurant’s ambiance, its quality decor, and the rhythm and blues music provided a nice romantic touch.
Our server Gabrielle D. was unquestionably magnificent, and deserves a huge round of applause and appreciation for her great customer service. She mentioned that Season 52 core menu options changes four times a year with each season, pointed out the specials for the day and addressed our questions regarding the meal options.
Gabrielle also did a great job on noting our orders and always checked in on us to make sure we were having a great time.
Last but certainly not least, my wife and I absolutely loved our meals, from the appetizer to our entrees.
We found our meals to be perfectly cooked, superbly seasoned and 110 percent delicious!!! Kudos to the cooking team!!!
Both my wife and I enjoyed and suggest that you order the chicken pesto flat appetizer, and the cedar plank salmon entree. You’ll find these meals to be amazing, just as we did!!!
We thank Season 52 for providing us a with a wonderful dining experience, and highly recommend for everyone to visit and dine at this outstanding...
Read moreWe finally found a restaraunt for people that care about their health and fitness while not thinking butter, salt, fat and grease are the only way to serve delicious food. Portion sizes here are perfect and they won't make you feel like you are going to burst.
We had the appetizer of lump crab, shrimp, creamed spinach and breadcrumb-stuffed mushroom caps in a bubbling hot skillet straight out of the brick oven and it was absolutley spot on. The menu says the dish is only 240 calories, the flavors and aroma's will make you believe it's 1000 calories. Hat's off to the chef for creating and incredibly robust dish that people who care about their health and fitness can enjoy with zero guilt!!
I am not sure what magic wand the chef has, but our entrees somehow went above and beyond the appetizer, basically perfecting perfection.
Wood grilled wild Alaska halibut is served with asparagus, marble potatoes, sweet corn and tomatoes topped with a fresh lemon dill vinaigrette. Cooked flawess with just enough sear to give a tiny crunch, yet moist and flaky. Asparagus, marble potatoes, sweet corn were probably never meant to have this much flavor while not swimming and dripping in fat and grease.
Chilean sea bass and mash is bang bang bonkers and could easily land a Michelin star or two! It is roasted in a brick oven with a ginger-sesame glaze. I have to limit my salt intake and our waiter Chris, BOSS, went to the chef and said I would be best off getting the mashed potatoes as aside instead of the ginger sesame glaze snow peas and rice. Hat's off to him because it was delightful. Not a crumb was left on my plate and I had no idea 600 calories could taste so robust.
Michelin star status bang bang...
Read moreI've been going to Seasons 52 for years now and choose it for many special occasions. This time it was for my wedding anniversary and when I made the online reservation, I added that.
When we were seated, a booth near the bar, we were welcomed with 2 flutes of champagne and an anniversary card with a gift card for a complimentary flat bread. It's a really nice touch.
Both of us ordered from the Spring menu which offered dishes not usually found on the regular menu. We started with the Spinach & Strawberry Salad and Black Bean & Bacon Soup. Both were tasty; my spouse loved the soup and my salad was good but nothing special.
We both ordered the Wood-Grilled Sea Scallops which never disappoint. This time they were served over a Lemongrass Wild Rice Pilaf which we both found to be a bit spicy. The dish also included Roasted Asparagus which was great.
Seasons 52 only has one type of dessert and there are about 8 choices. It's a perfect ending being just enough to satisfy the sweet tooth and is served in a tall shot glass. We ordered the Key Lime Pie and Mocha Macchiato (see photos). I took mine to-go as I was stuffed and the packaging was impressive and my dessert arrived safely at my home.
My only complaint this occasion was our server and the reason for only 4 stars. We usually engage with our servers here as they are all so professional and friendly; this guy not at all. He rushed us from the moment we sat down and hope we never get him again! Other than that, it was a pleasant way to spend our...
