My son in Madison, WI ordered me a birthday cake from Nothing Bundt Cake in Henrietta. The cake was delivered when no one was home, actually my younger son was home, but asleep. It was a surprise. I was at work. The expensive birthday cake was left in a shopping bag on my porch. The delivery person called, said it was there on my porch. I said "ok", never offered to take it back until someone could pick it up. They don't deliver on weekends. I found out my delivery was between 11 and 2pm. Hello?? I work all day. Later my sleeping son woke and brought the bag inside. Unfortunately, a squirrel enjoyed the cake, ripped through the cellophane and took a few bites. I felt compensation was owed so I called to report the incident. The owner refused to replace the cake, felt it was my fault for ok-ing the delivery. FYI-I was told it was being delivered, not asked. What kind of business owner blames the customer for their poor service, and reckless delivery policy, an owner who will fail. Bad business. In addition, she was rude, insensitive, and greedy. Didn't seem bothered by my son paying $60 for a cake, inadequate packaging and insecure delivery. The most she could do was pay for half, felt my son and I were responsible for the destroyed birthday cake??? Who does this?? I will never shop there. She can Bundt off!!

Instead of accepting their mistake they remained dismissive and proceeded to convince my husband (who went to pick up the order) that thereās nothing they can do. If you are going to accept orders from grubhub may be educate the employees on how it works? Not to mention the extreme attitude and the tinge of discrimination in the store managerās voice. I was on the phone the entire time and I could hear that attitude even over the phone. They immediately assumed my husband was the delivery driver (behaved with him like he was there to steal) and was almost turning him away had he not pushed to get the order. I come to google reviews to see if this was an isolated event and see that the store manager does have a reputation. I previously gave this place a 5 star. Well, as much as I love this place, I am never ordering from here again until thereās a change in attitude. The woman helping me Thursday afternoon was incredibly rude and dismissive. My sister moved to NYC and doesnāt have a location nearby, her birthday is today and received an email for a free Bundtlet cake. Instead of just telling me I couldnāt use my sisters birthday reward when I presented her with the email, which would have been totally okay and I still would have bought one since they are only $5, she was condescending, nasty, and rude. Instead of being welcoming, she acted like I was a bother and treated me like I was trying to rob the place and made the entire visit uncomfortable.
