Krispy Mango Café & Bakeshop — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

Stopped in on a Saturday night a few days before Christmas. Met up with the in-laws, who were already served and eating at one of the tables. Two guys behind me, looked like their smoothie was already ordered and being worked on by one of the staff. I just wanted 2 cake pops and a cookie for the kids before going back outside to see the Christmas tree with the family. I stood at the register, wallet out and ready to order, but didn't get so much as a hello from the woman or her 2 coworkers for several minutes. I waited another few minutes before I got to order, then another couple of minutes for the cake pops and cookie (all premade) to be bagged and rang up. For the 15+ minutes it took for this transaction, and despite the line at Starbucks a few doors down, I could've been there and done before the Krispy Mango folk even greeted me. Had Krispy Mango been busy, I understand. Had there only been 1 person working that night, I would understand that too. Honestly, never would of expected to be this blown away by a bake shop! We stumbled upon this place just by mere accident, and were immediately greeted with warm smiles and the kindest helper, Ramy. The staff here is amazing, super attentive and told us they had just recently opened up. We could tell right away how deserving and hard working they were. Food wise, I’m not the biggest sweets person, so I was a bit skeptical, but the food here is downright delicious! I got the rolled ice cream and Ramy actually let me customize it myself (I suggest adding the butterfinger it was delectable). My novia got the coffee—-of course I snagged a sip—and yes it too was a homerun. I swear you can find the best service in NYC. First time at the store after a recommendation by a friend. Ambience is great! Service is top-tier I really deeply appreciate that the person taking our order asked us if we were ready and was prepared to prioritize us when another party came in after us (even though we weren’t ready yet). This may not seem like a big deal, but it matters. I have worked in customer service for a really long time and I do the same thing because it matters!
