The most fun restaurant for every season! #newyork

As I was traveling north on route 110 in Huntington I spotted a sign which said Munday's. It was across from the light at 110 on main street to the right side. I decided to turn right and find a parking spot. I walked across the street into Munday's and it was a food establishment. Well I knew I was in the right place because I wanted a Burger with cheddar cheese and sweet potato fries. Well I have to say the fries were cooked the way I liked and the Burger was amazing! I actually ate mine with a fork and a knife. This was a big Burger. This Burger was very tasty and cooked to make your mouth water for a second one. The bun for this Burger tasted great. When I was done I just had to compliment the owner for a Burger made great. The atmosphere felt like you were at home as a welcomed guest would feel. The greeter and servers all were a great team. I am looking forward to my next visit to Munday's for my next meal. I recommend that you stop there and experience Munday's and tell the owner Chris Fidis recommended them.

Came here based on reviews. Maybe we just came at a bad time. There are diners worth 5 star ratings out there, but this one definitely not one of them. The interior is nice, our waitress was friendly and efficient. But that does not outweigh bland food. All 4 of us ordered different food. Burger was terrible - ordered it cooked medium and it came dry and tasteless. I can't even imagine what one needs to do to meat to get it this way. Literally tasteless. Pastrami sandwich was just ok. However french fries that came with it appeared to me made out of wood. Really weird - tough but not burnt or stale. And tasteless as well. Absolutely not edible. Pancakes were worse than you'd have from a store's freezer. The only good item was chicken fingers our older son had, and it was almost a surprise, considering the rest of us were so unlucky. Milkshakes our kids had were the only bright moment of this lunch and earned 1 extra star for this diner.

In a nutshell: Poor table service, cold coffee @ 3.75 a cup & no regard - read below for details on the experience.

I came to enjoy a quiet meal with my mother & the service put a damper on the whole experience. We got breakfast for dinner so we ordered coffee as a beverage. The coffee was old & room temp at best, so we mentioned it nicely to the waitress. We thanked her and apologized to not come off badly & she said she would brb but never did. Shortly after, she was seen saying something to a worker who looked directly at my mother/our table & took a photo with his phone in our direction. Could be coincidence but made us uncomfortable. No one checked on us or asked if we needed anything else the whole time we were there. A water would have been welcomed. The guy seating people was sent to bring us coffee 30 minutes later after we finished eating. We declined since we were already done & about to leave. Our waitress attended to every other table the whole time but ours, ignored us with no eye contact. Every other waitress seemed sweet/attentive to their groups. When we tried to get her attention for the check she put her finger up and said "wait a minute". The whole visit we were left without anything to drink & no service - not surprised as it became increasingly clear it was done intentionally. It's uncomfortable to "complain" at a food establishment to begin with, but even if done as nicely as possible you're often left regretting your visit. I myself worked for a decade serving coffee/food to the most demanding customer base & know that a nice request & a smile/thank you goes a long way. People deserve to get good quality when they're paying and it should not be demonized when it's asked for ESPECIALLY when done in a calm manner. The guys in the front were nice when we expressed our disappointment.

The food was good, cute/cozy atmosphere, but I'll probably opt for any other place in the area due...

I Used to come here all the time as a kid, but after today's experience I will never return. I have a severe food allergy to eggs, and I let my server know that. She told me there was no problem they deal with food allergies all the time, we will cook your sandwich on the clean grill in the back. I said ok please double check the ingredients. She agreed to do so. When my food arrived I noticed they had put cole slaw on the side of my plate- A dish that always contains egg- I removed it and put it to the side away from my sandwich and mentioned it to my mom. When I took my second bite into my sandwich I noticed there was some kind of dressing on it. Honey mustard. I quickly called the waitress over and asked if it contained eggs. After a few minutes of chit chatting to the kitchen guys, the answer was yes. She came back and was extremely defensive and didn't apologize. I asked her for the manager and the manager apologized, but didn't take the situation very seriously. They took my sandwich off the bill, but left the salad we shared on the bill. In my opinion they should have taken my salad odd of the bill for their negligence, and they should have taken my food allergy a lot more seriously. Thankfully I didn't have enough to put me on the hospital but I am out of commission for the rest of the day. I am extremely frustrated with this restaurant because not only for how I feel, but having a food allergy I feel for others with food allergies. And maybe if it was someone else, they wouldn't be so lucky. I do not recommend this...
