Where do I start let’s see! The person that answers the phone and takes the order seems to not like working there since he is rude and nasty even when placing the order. They told me it would be about an hour for delivery cause it’s a busy delivery day with one driver. Fine I said that’s ok and went to watch a movie. Halfway thru the movie I realized the food has not come yet. So I called and that same person got mad at me and said this is what happens when you order on a bad busy delivery day and you will just have to wait you sweet time for your food. I just wanted to know how much longer it would be and he blew up cursing and telling me it will get there when it gets there.
So it finally arrived 2 hours later and the food was cold and inedible. I called to tell them that it finally showed up and it was inedible and cold. The pasta was not cooked and the chicken was over done so we couldn’t heat it up anymore cause it was too dry. The person on the phone was the same person I spoke to before and he was screaming well what do you want me to do about that. You want a credit that you won’t get and I’m not making the food over so nothing. There’s nothing I will do for you. I said I just wanted you to know it came and unedited. But he just went on a rampage and told me he didn’t care. If I did care that much the manager is in only on Tuesday and to take it up with them. So this was my first time ordering at this location and my last! NEVER AGAIN ordering...
Read moreThis was our go-to pizza joint before moving out-of-state and though we love where we live now, we'd consider moving back to LI just so we can eat a slice from Pizzaiolo whenever we want. Their plain is banging, and they offer an array of pizza "flavors" that are also worth checking out if you want something a little extra. Their ciabatta sandwiches also don't disappoint. The ciabatta sandwich with the broccoli rabe can be a little oily sometimes (sogging up the bread) but that never stopped me from re-ordering it. Plus, the portions are huge so you get bang for your buck. I'm also a huge fan of their house salad! For the families: They have a Tuesday pie special ($12 for an 18" regular pie you pickup). Pizzaiolo is one of the cleanest pizza joints I've ever been to and their food is consistent -- I truly...
Read moreMy family's favorite Pizza! My 5 year old son is normally a half a slice to a slice kid. The first time we got Pizziaolo he ate 3 and a half slices! The second time 2 and a half! I love the panko on the crust it adds a nice crunch. I am usually not a big Sicilian Pizza fan I need to be in the mode but here they have excellent sicilian so it is always a must get! We have gotten pizza, ciabbatta sandwhiches and heros everything has been spot on. The only thing that we have not been fans of is the garlic knots they are just so whatever but besides that pizza is out of...
