Napoli's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Malta

Here's the problem: ordered off of the menu at the counter. There are DOZENS of these menus available right where you order. Clerk /owner totals the order and processes the credit card. AFTER processing the card, when questioned why the bill was higher than the prices shown on their menu, clerk/owner states that the menu prices were "too low", and also they now charge an extra amount for use of a credit card as indicated by a small sign hidden on the OTHER side of the register. Look - the food was fine - if you want to raise your prices that's up to you. However, DELIBERATELY AND DECEPTIVELY CHEATING CUSTOMERS will not create a following or even get people to come back. They will feel deceived (as I do) and go elsewhere. I'd even pay more somewhere else if the other restaurant's prices were reflected honestly. Again - no issues with the food quality - so creating bad experiences for customers is just bad business.

Look at it this way: if your napkin supplier suddenly charged you 10% more than quoted and hoped you wouldn't notice, would you order supplies from them again? That's how your customers feel when they are deceived...

Prices went up, slices got smaller, music so loud I can't even think straight. Walked up to the counter, noticed the grandma's was made poorly using old dough. That was enough for me. Turned around and left. It's a shame, this placed used to be legit.

Catch em on a good day and it's heaven. Stroll in on a bad day and it'll be the last time you order there.

Can't seem to hold down regular staff. What's that say about the business?

Edit, response to owner: Been eating there for almost a year. Called in to complain before yet things remain unchanged. Undercooked dough, old dough, spoiled sauce, inconsistently assembled pies.

I got to say the experience that I just had here, as simple as it was, was actually incredible. The food is fantastic to begin with, but whoever I dealt with today when I ordered wings has my utmost respect. I won't go into detail on what exactly happened but essentially in the blur of a hectic 80 hour week, I made a mistake with my order to the shops detriment, and out of all of the options they had, they chose the one that was best for ME, hands down, no questions. And they most definitely didnt have to. So - super solid food, really fantastic customer service, Like really really fantastic, and it's just a cool little spot.
