It’s rare that I have not a single constructive criticism but Jill’s truly is a jewel. I had a Bloody Mary that was one of the best I’ve ever had (the ONLY thing I wish they would change is adding the celery stalk common to Bloody Mary’s). I had the surf & turf Benedict which was delicious, eggs were perfectly poached, the presentation of the dish was perfect. My daughter had the children’s chocolate chip pancakes, the portion was enough to feed an adult which was a nice surprise. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and for the area the restaurant is in. Service was friendly and professional. I don’t know if it’s typical because I’ve only been here once but I love that Sunday brunch was not overly crowded. There are TV’s by the bar, great for watching sports. Decor is a pleasant blend of a modern and nautical feel. Location is good for taking a nice walk by the water, there are other shops to see on the same street. I regret completely forgetting to include pictures, I was distracted because it was a family event. I will most definitely be...

We ordered the wings, burger, and chicken sandwich — all fantastic. But then came the carrots. Mid-bite, I actually choked. Thick cut, rock-solid carrots that nearly sent me to the afterlife right there at the table. By some miracle, I managed to stay calm, sip water, and make it to the bathroom to clear my airway — all while my wife and son sat blissfully unaware. If it can happen to a full-grown adult, I shudder to think what could happen to a child. Please, slice those carrots thinner — they taste great, but I’d prefer to survive eating them.
Despite my near-death experience, I’d still go back in a heartbeat that passionfruit mimosa worth it— just maybe skip the carrots… or at least have my will...
Read moreMy grandson, his friend and I had a delightful lunch on a recent weekday. Jill’s opens at noon and we were waiting eagerly. Immediate seating by a smiling friendly server. The boys enjoyed watching the Yankees baseball game on the tv while waiting for our perfectly grilled and still juicy Angus burgers on brioche buns. The piping hot handcut fries were delicious. Service was quick and friendly while the food was beautifully presented. The lovely Proprietress, Jo, came and introduced herself while inquiring after our satisfaction. I told her how wonderful our experience was and that my grandson insisted Jill’s be given a 5 star rating!!! I wholeheartedly concur and will be returning soon as well as recommending this establishment to others!! I also look forward with great alacrity to trying her husband’s restaurant, Jack’s in Eastchester, after such a positive...
