Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Town of New Hartford

I went to the Jersey Mike's Subs in New Hartford New York this afternoon to order a sub, however, it took forever to place the order. Once I placed the order I sat at one of the tables, which was sticky and dirty, therefore, i moved to a new table and that one was also dirty, in fact all of the tables were dirty. I than asked 3 employees if they could clean the tables and each one of them ignored me. I asked a young kid that was on the register playing with his phone and looking at the young ladies that walked into the place to clean the table 2 times. There was also a man that ordered and before leaving he asked the kid at the register to clean the tables, however, the kid went to work on the grill instead of doing anything. The next employee that I asked was the guy working the grill, which moved so slowly that it was difficult to know if he was actually doing anything other than watching his phone and the eye candy of woman that entered into the place. The third person that I asked was a female employee that responded by asking me if I seen her just walking into the placing before going into a mood disorder that could be described out of the DSM V. The woman spoke quickly and jerked as she spoke as if to say how dare you ask me to do anything. Soon after the manager came over to ask if there was a problem and I explained what I had experienced. The manager refunded the order and said that she would like it if I would give them another chance, however, as soon as she went to the register the fry cook comes over and begins to berate me by telling me that he has more important things to do than clean tables before I told him to get out of my face, which totally floored me. The manager looked on without saying anything as this person came over to me thinking that they were goin to put me into my place. The manager should have spoken up a long time ago and not allowed any of her employees to get int my face but maybe she's afraid of them or something, who knows. Therefore, I will never go back to this place for food and through all of this they even screwed up my order, now isn't...

Last night, I tried Jersey Mike's (in New Hartford, NY) for the first...and last...time. There were three employees working, and they all gave off the vibe that they were in a prison camp. The guy at the counter mumbled something, which I assume was, "Can I help you." I told him that it was my first time there and that I may need a minute to look over the menu. He grumbled something like, "We close at 9" (it was 8:50pm when I went in. Apparently, he was concerned it would take him longer than ten minutes make a sandwich.) I asked if they had gluten free bread. Looking annoyed, he mumbled something to the young woman working beside him (he mumbled a lot) and then nodded. I ordered a "regular" sized mixed cold-cuts sub...which is about the same length as a Subway 6" sub, but a bit larger in circumference. The price on the menu was 9 dollars and change. To their credit, they do slice the cold cuts to order and the toppings looked fresh. Still, $9 for a half a sandwich is a bit steep. I asked for oil and vinegar dressing. The guy making the sub told the young woman to get the oil. She poured on so much, it dripped all over the guy when he tried to wrap the sandwich (he actually has to re-wrap it, because it soaked through the bag.) He rang me up and I paid with a credit card. It wasn't until I got home that I discovered that they charged me an additional two dollars for the gluten free roll! Even with the oil slick they poured on it...the roll tasted like compressed sawdust. So, it cost me $12 for a tasteless sandwich. My wife went a couple of doors down to Blaze Pizza...and for the same amount of money got an entire pizza (which, by the way, was wonderful.) Mike needs to go back to Jersey...and take his lousy...

I've been a several Jersey Mikes stores. This is by far the worst I have ever been to. Just for clarification my wife managed a Jersey Mikes down South. Grand opening and everything. I know exactly how these stores are supposed to be run and this is not how a Jersey Mikes should be run. For starters, Elamar took our order but didn't write down the order like she was supposed to. Her attitude was very rude. I was making sure she heard my whole order and she cut me off and said she had heard my wife say what she wanted. Then after we got our subs, a giant chipolte w/ extra cheese and a chicken bacon ranch, I asked for a couple sides of ranch for my wife. I had originally asked for one but my wife had then asked for two. So I communicated that and Elamar acted so upset that we wanted sides of ranch! After she set them on the counter for me I stood there expecting her to get lids. She looked at me and said "you want lids too?" She was so upset when I said yes! At every other Jersey Mikes I've ordered my chipolte with extra cheese, the cheese is literally everywhere on that sub! This sub didn't have extra cheese even though the staff said that there is extra cheese on it. I'm extremely disappointed in this particular Jersey Mikes store. I've always felt like I was getting a "sub above" regardless of what location I've gone to. I'm extremely disappointed in this store and I will be finding a different Jersey Mikes store to do...
