McDonald's — Restaurant in Town of New Hartford

8/28/25 delivery via grubhub. Deserves Zero stars for both McDonald's & grubhub.

I will attach pics of what was ordered, & received. To start no sugars, creamers,ketchups, napkins. My food was completely cold, fries half full were hard & cold. Quarter pounder with cheese had normal amount of pickles & onions, requested extra of both. The sandwich was obviously old, cold & not very good at all. Big mac had basically zero onions, a few pickles, no extra cheese, it was old, cold & messy as hell. They put a ton of sauce which was not requested. I did request extra onions & pickles. I simply do not understand why this is such an impossible request?????? Management at this new hartford store on Seneca turnpike is lacking in all areas. Grubhub needs to address the issue of food being bagged 30 to 60 minutes before driver arrives. Until they do I will continue to dispute charges for all this cold food. Do better both of you.

12/26/24, delivery via grubhub another bad order from this store. Downgraded to one star, deserves zero... Delivery was prompt, double quarter pounder with cheese had extra pickles but not extra onion again... double cheeseburger again was ice cold, had no onions, requested extra onions! Bun looked like it had a big bite in it. Taste was gross, it was completely cold & old. Fries were only half filled, no excuse, bag was sealed so this was McDonald's issue. People really need to start demanding better, the cost is high & products are disgusting lately. Do better McDonald's!!!!!!!! New management needed, as current one is not doing their job or these same issues would not keep happening. Attaching pics.

11/30 /24 via grubhub Again asked for extra onions on big mac, double cheeseburger & quarterpounder with cheese & instead for sixth time received no onions. All items had ticket saying extra onions, called manager at McDonald's & all he kept saying was " I don't know why no extra onions " never indicated he would look into matter, or talk to people cooking, just nothing. Kept referring me to grubhub, well grubhub didn't mess up this order you did McDonald's so take some responsibility & look into why why why this keeps happening !!!!!!!!!!!!! Requested Paid for extra tartar sauce, lettuce, cheese & pickles on my double filet. Barely any lettuce, no pickles, no extra tartar. Simple requests that are paid for & they still cannot get it right. It's not a hard job, I worked at McDonald's throughout high school, but that was when people wanted to work & actually took pride in their work & job regardless of the job. Today no one cares at all. Obviously he's a manager who could care less & did absolutely nothing to rectify this ongoing issue. You need to do better McDonald's & how about teaching cooks to read & obey...

They're all remodeling slowly. Thought McDonald's were intended to be about kids. I get it people may be concerned about germs in the play areas and it may be a pain to wipe down all the time . Most are taking out things for the kids to do. Sad as it changes the environment McDonald's was. Seems like a modern coffee shop. I get it, have to keep up with the trends. Don't like the menus. Electronic in some McDonald's. Too fast ,hard to read. Like permanent menus to read or move them slower to read. They did put electronic touch pad games in for kids. However should not be at tables, but in another area. Makes kids too tempted to want to play while they're trying to eat. Parents get frustrated. Problems with pads not working, look dirty a lot. Wake them down more, leave packaged wipes at the table so parents can clean them. Need to improve some of their food and make it healthier. Great they have salads!!! Add more mixed greens not just iceberg lettuce. That has little nutritional value. Great giving kids a choice of apples, juice, milk. Want to bring more parents in, serve healthy mac and cheese and grilled cheese sandwiches and white whole wheat bread. Kids love that stuff and parents go to places that serve it. Some kids don't eat a lot of meat, I know my grandson doesn't. I know I have six grandkids. Remember today's parents are looking for no GMOs or food colorings in kids food specially! Don't take away the prizes in the Happy meals for kids. They look forward to that!! Just make it more educational and not just following whatever comes out In movie theaters. Parents don't always like what comes and it commercializes our kids way too much. Choose to be different and this will draw parents in as well. Parents of today really like educational toys ! The Cass City McDonald's is by far the worse one ever! We HIGHLY recommend the Caro one to everyone and anyone! They clearly are out to get people's money & not repeat customers. They clearly think that since they are the only fast food place in that town that they can do whatever they want and people will still come back because otherwise they have to drive to Caro or some place else for their food. Personally our family drives to the Caro McDonald's with pleasure! As they give you what you want the way you want it! Every time! And they don't charge double for caramel on the cup and then extra on the top of their frappes...It's strictly 50 cents! They give you fries without salt or with light salt when asked NOT a ton of it instead like Cass City McDonald's does. The Caro McDonald's employees are way more friendlier and by far have the cleanest place between the 2! The Caro McDonald's employees LOVE their customers and it shows in their performance and in everything they do! Whereas mostly of the Cass City McDonald's employees are flat out rude and not polite at all. We've attached a photo of a caramel frappe from the Caro McDonald's! We only pay an extra 50 cents for it to be this way here whereas at Cass City they charge another whole $1! And there's barely any caramel in the cup or extra on the top... hence why we said they are CLEARY only out to get people's money. You want a good item from McDonald's or suggestion...GO TO CARO! THEY'LL DO IT RIGHT THE 1ST TIME...
