Last night my friend, fiancé and myself went here. As soon as we walked up the woman working the register/taking orders immediately told us that they were only doing to-go orders, which we completely understood because it was almost 2 am and we’d never eaten there at this time. There was one other couple seated, but we still didn’t question it. We sat in the waiting area and she rushed us to order our food, my fiancé paid and he tipped on card. After we had ordered two other people also ordered food, but when they came in she told them both that they were closing in 30 mins, so they were also rushed even though this location is supposed to be 24/7. One man didn’t tip on his card when he was paying and we heard the women deny his first attempt to pay without a tip. She quite literally told him to swipe his card again and add a tip. The absolute audacity. She was very rude and passive aggressive and we wish my fiancé could take his tip back! This situation sat so poorly with him that he called denny’s today and got confirmation that we were actually supposed to be seated and that they are supposed to run 24/7. So, she lied to us about seating and lied to the other people about closing. He also mentioned the woman making a man tip her. We hope this won’t be accepted and brushed off. I don’t have much to say about the restaurant overall as we didn’t get to really experience it, the food was alright! The point of this review is cautionary, be aware if you plan to...
Read moreOur server Yovana was horribly rude. She came to the table, didn’t introduce herself, we gave our drink order as that was the way she came to the table “drinks? Okay go ahead”, and she walked off, turned around to tell her we were ready to place our food order and she ignored us because she had airpods in. All of our drinks were disgusting, I asked for the strawberry syrup in my sprite she said it was finished but made strawberry lemonade for someone at the table……. She had a very bad attitude while waiting our table, and she couldn’t have possibly had a prior situation with any of us (children included) as that was our very 1st experience at Denny’s. Our food was cold, Yovana never came to ask if we were doing okay, and if we needed anything further except when we were all finished eating, she didn’t give us the opportunity to add anything to the bill, and gave it to us instantly after asking as if she wanted us out. We had no idea we were supposed to pay at the front so waited atleast 15min and went to the front, thats when she came out and took the bill. We informed her she over charged us for an item we never received/ ordered, she took it off the bill, we asked if we can split the payment with card & cash she told us no. Never been to any establishment where splitting payment is unacceptable, anyways after she took our payment she immediately called next to take the persons behind us, all in all this experience...
Read moreI have never had a worse experience at a restaurant ever. I’ve eaten at this establishment many times in the past and it’s gone down hill. From the moment we were seated, the service was discourteous and unwelcoming. Our server did not introduce herself or offer a greeting. Instead, she began the interaction with a curt, “What do you want to drink?” This set the tone for the rest of the visit, which only worsened as our meal progressed. The food we received was far from the quality we expected. My bacon was burnt, the eggs were bland, and the waffles tasted like generic store-bought Belgian waffles. My boyfriend ordered pancakes that tasted as if they were made the day before. To make matters worse, our plates appeared dirty and worn, and the table had not been properly cleaned before we were seated. What was especially disappointing was that after our meals were served, the server never returned to check on us or ensure that everything was satisfactory. This experience was frustrating and disheartening. The lack of professionalism, cleanliness, and care made it clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to...
