Table 21 August 24th 2024 No refills on cocktail drinks No refill on tap Water Wait between appetizer and main course was 40 minutes Once main course was served, we were not asked if everything was okay Tortolini was over cooked and bland, no cheese was offered. Oso Bocco the most expensive entree was bland and dry. We’re sitting here finished and no one is addressing us. They ignore us as they walk to and from the kitchen. And I am the clientele (older rich Italian) that they cater to, unfortunately my companion was not ? We were not offered dessert, but rather an obligatory plate of mini biscottis was placed on the table, signaling end of meal. You call for reservations which they accept after 3pm on weekends, and no one picks up, but you are not allowed to reserve on voice mail. When we got here, the manager, Daniel, claims he was here before 3, as he begrudgingly sat us. Appetizer figs w prosciutto was good Drinks were decent ** Ricardo, the busboy, sensing our bewilderment, refilled our waters and asked if we wanted coffee, 2 hours after we sat down. Marvin our waiter was mysteriously absent during our meal, but attentive to other tables. My wife is Filipino and we feel like we were discriminated against. Marvin just dropped the check on the table and walked away. Really??? 2024,,,, Racism is real and happens at Guilio Cesare Ristaron. NEVER AGAIN!!! mai più!!!

Overall experience was exceptional. Truly fine dining! Some of the best food I’ve had recently. My mothers parents were from Croatia and northern Italy so we know dishes from this region. Every dish had amazing flavor and was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the seafood salad, baked clams, gnocchi, fusi in ossobuco sauce, red snapper and Chilean sea bass. Food was excellent, though a little heavier than northern Italian food in Italy. But that is the perennial problem with most Italian food on this side of the Atlantic. Old world charm and service... Hope it's not forgotten Some authentic northern dishes would be great...bolito misto just came to mind... But the cuisine of Tuscany, Venezia Assisi... Actual dishes not American adaptations would be fabulous.. And prices...early dinner. Late supper ...tall order?...
