Gyro Jimmy's — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

Clean, excellent customer service, fresh chicken, fresh veggies, and the tzatziki sauce is exceptional. My only complaint is that the food in my gyro was not evenly spread out. The meat was on one end, and the sauce was on the other end. When I bit into it, there was meat but no sauce. I will come here again.

Last night was my second visit to this fantastic restaurant. I travel here from Queens. I pass by plenty of other Greek restaurants, but Gyro Jimny's is the best.

I ordered the lamb gyro platter to stay. I ate my food nice and slowly...it was that delicious. I had no complaints. Although the owner wasn't there as on my previous visit, the service was A+++. Great staff, great food, and a spotless restaurant.

I have to say i drive all around long island trying different places for gyro for my fiance ( i normally dont like eating it) yet i try it each time. I go from Suffolk to Nassau. I decided to try gyro jimmys traditional gyro with lemon potatoes and rice. All i can say was wow amazing , it melted in your mouth the lemon potatos were worth trying as well and best part is he isnt cheap on his white sauce i was thick and beyond tasteful. The service couldn't get any better. The place was very clean and he also explained all the different gryo sticks he had of chicken lamb and gyro combined. I definitely will go back and not just for my fiance , ill definitely will be eating his gyro as well as i will love to try the other tasteful food they make there.
