It was my first time coming to this place, I wanted to try it out so I placed an order directly on the app and made my way to the restaurant. As soon as I got there as expected it was completely packed, I went to the section where people are picking up their online orders placed through apps, DoorDash, uber eats, and what not. One thing I will say is they need to create a better system for lines, because everyone just cuts in front of everyone and it becomes a huge disaster. There is also a big screen that shows people’s names and if their order is being made or if it’s ready. My name did not happen to be on the screen so I waited in line, I asked the employee working there if my food under this name is ready. He gave me a nasty attitude and told me to look at the screen and to tell him if it says it’s ready. In response I gave the same energy because for one there was no reason for the attitude, I understand people get frustrated and stressed in situations where it is completely packed and they are being flooded with orders but I don’t appreciate the worker treating me as if I’m dumb, I approached nicely and have been patient like everyone else waiting for their order. I told him my name is not on the screen otherwise I wouldn’t be up here asking. Next thing you know my order has been ready, these people working behind the counters need to learn to have self control in such high pressure situations since that’s what they...

There assuredly was some chaos in the restaurant on this first day, but I'm not going to knock them for being so popular they're overwhelmed with patrons while still only just getting off the ground. The manager and who I believe to be the assistant manager were very attentive to the opening day issues, so I have faith that the next few days will get a little smoother.
Now as for what matters- the food. Keeping in mind that this is a fast food restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back. The flagship fried chicken options are easily the best fast fried chicken options in the area. I'd say the sides and drinks are just about okay. None of them really hit, but they certainly weren't disappointing, just kind of standard fast food quality. That said, the fries were probably a step above average.
The restaurant itself was well branded, clean, and laid out well. They're going to get a lot of business from IBM, Optum, and the other nearby corporate offices so I'm hoping they'll be able to keep up with the lunch traffic.
Overall, the flagship chicken and spices are the go-to here. I do wish corporate would put more effort into drinks and sides, especially the mac and cheese, but you can't win'em all. I'll definitely be back and I'm glad Dave's is a solid fried chicken option in the...
