It was my first time coming here and it was really nice. It's very atmospheric inside with their dim lights, dark walls, and lovely wood accents. My partner ordered for me since I wasn't sure what was good, so I'm not exactly sure what it was but it was the multi-course meal with dessert. The soup and salad were quite pleasant, both featuring a lot of flavor without being too much. I also ordered a lemonade which was a bit sweeter than I personally prefer but it was still nice. I also got noodles with vegetables (came with zucchini, broccoli, and onions) and rice. The noodles had a lot of good flavor to them for how they were seasoned and it was made even better by the slight char from the grill. I'm also not typically a fan of zucchini, but these were cooked nicely and I was able to eat it all, including with the ginger sauce since it gave it a nice tang. I wasn't a fan of the rice. There was nothing wrong with it, it was cooked well and did taste nice, but I just wasn't feeling it. However, the filet mignon was to die for. It was showstopping. I usually try to stay social when eating out, but it was so good that I was silent the entire time. It's "death row final meal" kind of good. I believe mine was ordered medium rare, which I don't usually go for, but it was amazing. It was as close to perfection as anything has ever been. Moving on, I finished up with chocolate ice cream, which...
Read moreI usually like Edos but my experience last night will make me never go back. I made the mistake of choosing to have a birthday dinner with friends here. First, we waited 30 minutes to order drinks and then another 30 minutes to receive it. My boyfriend and I scallops tasted fishy meaning they are old and undercooked so make sure you stay away from seafood here. The chef was horrible as well. He did no tricks, wasn’t interactive, and didn’t even offer us the sake part of the dinner. Very disappointing. When receiving our check we were given a hard time about splitting it, which is ridiculous and lazy. They even made us write out on paper who was paying for what ourselves. LAZY!!! I’m a server as well and I would NEVER ask that of my costumers. And on top of that they had the nerve to add 17% gratuity!! For what? Doing nothing? I guess they did that knowing their service sucked and they weren’t going to get a good tip. They didn’t even take the full price of the scallops off our check. How do you serve bad food and still expect to charge the person for it. And to put the cherry on top they charge you for a “special occasion” if I knew that I wouldn’t have even mentioned it was my birthday. Almost 9 dollars for a picture I could take on my own and a gross piece of cake. Definitely don’t waste your time...
Read moreI would NEVER visit this establishment EVER! Clearly all races are not welcome and the hostess and manager made that very clear last night. Arrived at the restaurant at approximately 7:24pm (keep in mind the restaurant closes at 10pm) asked to be seated for a party of 3, it was pretty busy for a Saturday so I understood there would be a bit of a wait. The hostess which clearly had no intention whatsoever to seat us, took my number and told me it would be a 45 minute wait. After about an hour, (8:25pm) still no call, went back into the restaurant to find out what was going on and was told it would be more of a wait. My family and I decided to go elsewhere because at this point I could tell they wouldn't be seating us at all, because it must not be aesthetically pleasing for an African American family to be seated in their restaurant. I still NEVER GOT A PHONE CALL!!!! Not even one with an update on the wait time or better yet, they didn't even have the decency to let me know we wouldn't be seated at all!!! Basically we would have starved and the restaurant would have closed had we waited any longer. So glad we didn't spend our money...
