Nothing Bundt Cake has a special place in my heart. I have stop into several location in diffident states as I travel. Every time there is always a warm welcome from the staff.
Well on 2/6/25 @ 4:30/5pm at this location, my experience was anything but warm. This was my first time at this location and I was also introducing my bestie to the sweets for the first time.
When we walked in the young lady was on her phone, head down, and AirPods in. We waited and as we waited I showed my bestie the different things they offer for purchase (no I’m not an employee but the young lady didn’t acknowledge us at all). When she finally looked up she had a visible disposition of annoyance. My bestie was asking question because she never had Nothing Bundt Cakes previously. The young lady barely opened her mouth to answer or interact.
When asked about the display case which was covered, thinking if my bestie could see some of the bundlets she may have less questions. The lady snapped at me and said it’s broken that’s why it’s covered. I then asked are you still serving customers she snapped again and said we have them in the back.
Both bestie and I looked at each to confirm that we are not crazy and we both are feeling unwelcomed. Nonetheless, we attempted to proceed because bestie wanted to order 2 dozen of bundtinis for a work event.
I decided to redeem my birthday reward. My birthday reward was refused because this location was listed as my preferred location. I said no problem but did point out that I have redeemed my birthday reward in both North Carolina and Long Island locations without a problem in the past as long as I showed ID.
I decided not to purchase because the attitude she presented continue to get worst with every interaction. I stepped aside and let my bestie continue to browse. When she persisted to lack the customer service that should be present my best friend decided not to purchase.
We left and went to the Hartsdale location, the location I usually go to, and had stellar service and placed a $90 order.
Just A Note:
We didn’t leave because the birthday reward was refused. We left because I do not spend money with people that can’t be bothered to...
Read moreI wish I could give 10 stars to the service! It was my first Mother’s Day ever and we were going to a Mother’s Day celebration. My contribution was to bring a nothingbundtcake Bundt cake with me! I didn’t realize they were closing early on this day and I got a courtesy call to let me know they’d be closing soon. I was freaking out because I was at home with my newborn and my husband was at work, so I had no way to get the cake. Darrell, the manager got on the phone and told me not to worry at all and that he would bring it to my home himself. I was in pure shock by his kindness and incredible customer service. I was so overwhelmed in that moment and he just made something that would have been extremely difficult, so easy for us, and was so gracious. I cant express my gratitude fully to Darrell for his kindness, all I know is that he is a true asset to Nothing Bundt cakes and I wish everyone I encountered in customer service was just like him! Seriously! Also, the cake was DELICIOUS! We got the limited edition lemon blueberry and it was loved by all. This place rocks and their manager rocks even more. Thank you...
Read moreFirst time here & my last time here. I go in to explore, look at the options they offer, and I see a gluten free cake.
I ask the very bored looking girl what is in it? She proceeds to point at the wall and say, "the description is on the wall". I read the wall. It wasn't helpful. It was a generic statement saying its GF lemon raspberry with frosting. COOL! So I ask her again, what specifically is in it, she says she'll get the baker and walks in the back.
The "baker" boy comes out. I ask what is in it, almond flour? Oat flour? He has no idea. Proceeded to explain it comes in a mix.
I just walk out... How on Earth, do you sell baked goods, containing potential deadly allergens, and NOT KNOW WHAT IS IN YOUR OWN...
