Due to the over whelping response to the t-mobile Tuesday offer this location and possibly many more decided to cut the promotion short by three days. As I approached to pick up my order the sales associate stated they are no longer taking t-mobile Tuesday coupons and I will not be able to get the items I ordered through the app. I order other items besides the free ones and by the time I placed a replacement order, I spent double of what I could have spent if I just went though the drive tru as a regular customer with no coupons. I waited in line for 15 mins for them to tell me to get out of my car, during covid season, and come into the restaurant. I was livid and had to purchase food against my better judgment because at this point I had a hungry family that was expecting popeyes chicken. The GM stated he has had many people come in and he has had to tell them all they are no longer taking the coupon and this decision was supposedly from the higher ups. Why would popeyes decide to embark on such a feet if they knew they were not able to supply what was expected. This company is terrible AND this store is ridiculous for telling people to get out of their cars. $40.00...
Read moreLesson finally learned. Seldom get the order correct…drive -up, delivery or in the restaurant. I don’t know why I was surprised today when one entire meal (out of 3) was not delivered. Gentlemen I spoke with at the restaurant said he “personally” packed the order and it was in there. Doubtful since the bag arrived with 4 undisturbed staples and a Popeyes seal over the top of the bag 15 minutes after I placed the order. They’ll give me a “free” sandwich just need to go through drive-thru…why would I order for delivery if I could come pick it up?? So Uber refunded me the price of the order, but had to pay $5 MORE (delivery fee, tip) for another one to be delivered so everyone could eat. I’ve eaten there several times over the years and have to say their food is not fried as crisp as other locations I’ve gone to but it’s the closest location. So I’m not a huge fan…and as I said at the beginning, screwing up orders has been their MO. If I didn’t have a specific request from a visitor, I’d have ordered from a better more reliable place. Read moreThis is a good Popeye's even though I am not a personal fan of commercially cooked deep fried chicken in general but if that's your thing, they do serve it hot and crispy here. There are 2 options, spicey and original. I feel the skin was crispy and the chicken juicy. I would prefer more flavor in the chicken itself. The mashed potatoes with gravy have little bits of smokey ham in it and are amazing. Biscuits are typical and not dry. They do not have butter for them and biscuits would benefit from some butter. Mac and cheese was decent. The infamous chicken sandwich was good combining the crisp of the chicken with pickle and mayo. A family meal of 8 pieces of chicken with a large side and 4 biscuits and an upsized sandwich combo meal that comes with one large soda and a large side came to over $50. It's not really cost efficient. It was reasonably clean with good service and plenty of parking in the lot and opened late on Memorial Day. Overall it's what you expect from a Popeye's chicken. It's not bad when looking for a late night...
