Literally joined just to review this place. The guy at the counter talked to everyone like they were bothering him. I got buffalo tenders, while I was being rung up he was like "Dang, you don't want a drink?" I figure what the hell, and order a medium soda. A guy from the back comes up and tells me it'll be ten minutes. I sit down, a couple more customers walk in to pick up their orders. (Surprise, the pizza looks stale/gross. Saw someone dine in with it and it just completely fell apart the moment they picked it up.) The counter guy puts a soda on the counter and yells something. I assume he's talking to one of the customers. I didn't think it was my soda because he never asked what I wanted. Turns out he decided for me! Root beer! Buffalo tenders came out and they were sour tasting, not hot. The cook put the blue cheese case right on top of the tenders. So unsanitary. You couldn't just leave it on the counter? Smack dab it in the middle of all the sauce.
I have to be honest, I basically went into the pizza place to escape the sun. Big Mama's cheesecakes wasn't open, I was waiting for a friend to get out of work so I decided to catch up on my reading. I have no clue why you would be in FRONT of the store if you can't paste a smile on your face and attempt to be friendly. I'm five feet tall and a hundred pounds, why are you talking to me like we're...
Read moreDear Father in Heaven - Please don't let Paladino's close anytime before I die. They have the absolute best NY or Sicilan style pizza in the city of Syracuse and all of its suburbs. The same can be said for the rest of the menu too, particularly their meatballs with sauce and cheese, which are the best i've ever had in my life. You know that I have tried plenty of other pizza shops (only when i'm nowhere near Paladino's), and I am always sorry for those sins. I'll make the bold statement that their only equal would be a pizzeria owned by you my Lord. You know I've been eating there since 1980 when I was 5 years old. Northern Lights plaza was an indoor mall back then, and since the mall closed, they have moved twice around the plaza. I'm proud to have eaten at all 4 incarnations of their shop over the years. The best way to enjoy their pizza is by ordering a large pie and eating it in the restaurant, served on a metal tray, and taking the leftovers home. Its best when it's too hot to eat, and you have to blow on it and wait to take your first bite.Getting pizza to go is fine too, but even a few minutes in a box changes the pizza compared to eating it in-store. Thank you...
Read moreI went in absolutely shocked. They literally FLIPPED THE RESTAURANTI had been coming to for the past 15 years. Like a mirror image, but better, upgraded. I thought I had entered the wrong restaurant! They greeted me warmly, as always, everyone wore masks appropriately. Everyone IN the restaurant followed the Covid protocols perfectly. My garlic knots were SUPREME!!! Hubby loved his pepperoni slices. However, he was sad to report that the mushrooms on his mushroom pizza slice did NOT taste fresh. They tasted "off" he couldn't explain it and I cannot eat them (very intolerant). He will never complain. He loves Paladino's and so does our whole family. Yes, me, too. Just recommending they check their fresh ingredients to make sure they are top notch. It could've been any number of reasons. They LOOKED delicious!!! (I absolutely LOVE mushrooms and wish I could still eat them) I still HIGHLY...
