Went to Javier’s with my wife for breakfast this morning. When we arrived, the place was busy but there were 3 empty tables pushed together in the middle of the restaurant and a small table up against the serving counter.
The hostess sat two gentleman at the large table (in the center of the 3 tables) and told us it would be a few minutes wait for a table. (I assumed they were not sitting guests at the table adjacent to the counter to maintain egress for the serving staff).
The two gentleman moved on their own to the end of the 3 tables (presumably so that other guests could be accommodated).
After a 10 minute wait, another couple came in and were seated at the table next to the counter (while we were still waiting to be seated). I asked my wife if she had been offered the table and had asked to wait for a different table but she responded that she was not offered that table.
We waited another 5 minutes to see if the hostess would separate the larger table into a smaller configuration to accommodate us (and perhaps another party) but as easy as that would have been to do, the gesture was never extended.
We decided that Javier’s didn’t want our business so we left and went elsewhere.
I’ve seen other reviews referencing poor customer service but that had never been our experience in prior visits. This is the first time we’ve been back since COVID so apparently service has declined. With so many choices out there for breakfast and lunch options, there’s no need to patronize businesses that don’t want to serve their guests. We...

I’ve been a loyal customer to this place for over a year, and I never had a single issue… until today. Honestly, I’m absolutely livid right now. The food was beyond bland, the orange juice was not served all the way up . and that’s being generous. But what really ruined the experience was the disgrace of service we received.
Ariel, our server, was nothing short of disrespectful. She was rude, rolling her eyes every time she came to our table, and don’t even get me started on how she handled our plates. Every time she came near me, her smelly, sweaty armpits were right in my face. I’m not exaggerating—this woman seriously had zero boundaries. My husband had to ask her repeatedly to stop, but she kept doing it, completely ignoring us.
And then, as if things couldn’t get worse, she served us spoiled milk. Who does that?!
When the bill came, it was $130 plus a $27 tip already added on. We didn’t feel the tip matched the atrocious service, so we left her $18 instead. But this woman had the audacity to chase us out, screaming at us for more money! Screaming! My father-in-law, in an attempt to avoid further drama, ended up handing her an extra $20. But there’s no way I would’ve given her another cent after the treatment we received.
This place used to be decent, but after today? Never again. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. This place does not deserve your...

This was my first time coming to this restaurant, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. I was looking forward to a nice meal out with my family, but what we got instead was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.
The food was terrible—completely flavorless and barely warm. But what truly ruined the evening was the disgraceful service. Our server, Ariel, was shockingly rude. She rolled her eyes constantly , and had absolutely no sense of personal space. Every time she came near the table, there was a strong odor of sweat that made it hard to even enjoy the meal. My son-in-law asked her several times—politely—to give us a little space ( by asking her that he would be the one to pass the plates ) but she just ignored him.
To make matters worse, we were served spoiled milk. Completely unacceptable for any establishment that claims to care about quality or customer experience.
When the bill arrived, it was $173—with an automatic $27 tip added. Given how poor the service was, we reduced the tip to $18 and tried to leave quietly. But Ariel actually chased us outside the restaurant, yelling at us in front of everyone, demanding more money. It was embarrassing and unnecessary. Just to calm things down, I gave her an extra $20—but honestly, that’s money I regret handing over.
I can’t speak to how this place used to be, but based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. This was my first visit, and it will...
