This was our very first time dining at the Beacon, we are huge fans of Bell and Anchor and go once or twice a week during the summer. The Beacon was also fantastic. The food was absolutely wonderful. Our waitress was fantastic as well. The only negative thing that I can even say is that it was extremely loud. We wound up chatting with a couple seated next to us and had a lovely conversation, but it was very difficult to hear them as it was a very loud dining experience, other than that, everything was Wonderful and we definitely will be returning!

One of the most delightful dinner experiences. This is James Beard quality dinning and service. Oh yes...did I mention the view? The most unique dish was a special appetizer called tuna taco. A hard tortilla with a layer of guacamole then a layer of a chipotle aiole then shredded lettuce topped with three very rare rectangles of tuna with four spheres of a very spicy sauce on the side If I lived in Sag Harbor, this would be a regular.

Looking for a beautiful spot to end the day with a relaxing view, amazing food, and friend staff? You’ve found your place. The Beacon nails it. Try the Fish Tacos and Pork Milanese - you’ll thank us!

What is going on in Sag Harbor? Have the customers been difficult this past season? Are customs different there than other places west of the Hamptons? It's my first meal ever in a Sag Harbor restaurant, and I'm still confused about why exactly certain staff was so combative. I ordered a simple appetizer bowl of muscles cooked with only garlic and white wine. The bowl came with tomatoes added. I cannot eat tomatoes, since I'm allergic to them. I was graciously given another bowl. Unfortunately, all of the six muscles I ate from the bowl were bad, they had turned, were not fresh enough to continue eating. I was graciously given a plate of plain tuna tartar, the only other item in the restaurant that compliments my organic and low carb diet. It was very fresh, thank you! However, when I asked the manager if he had heard about the quality of the muscles, he was indignant. He raised his voice in the restaurant. He tried his best to insult my character, and implied that I was playing games based on my own whim to get what I wanted. I suspect that he regretted his actions as I left, but perhaps certain waitstaff are short with the customers requests based on his prior actions? We left the proper tip for...

Unwelcoming atmosphere from the moment we walked in and interacted with the host. The man with gray hair and glasses needs an attitude change and a lesson in hospitality if he expects his guests to spend their money at this establishment. We walked out after a bad taste was left in our mouth from his arrogant remarks. We simply asked if the four of us could grab a drink and sit at the bar and his snarky response was “sit at the bar? you can grab a drink and stand around if that’s what you wanna do”. He acted as if we were an inconvenience to him and couldn’t be bothered. Coming from someone who works in a high end restaurant in manhattan our question could have been answered with a more professional approach and some class....

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beacon is a Sag Harbor favorite for a reason—elevated dining, exceptional service, and one of the most stunning sunset views on the East End. The menu is always fresh and thoughtfully prepared, with a laid-back elegance that perfectly captures the Hamptons spirit.

As a local real estate professional, I often recommend Beacon to clients looking for a memorable waterfront dining experience. It’s the kind of place where deals are toasted, milestones are celebrated, and summer evenings feel endless.

A true gem that blends coastal sophistication with warm hospitality.
