Elements Barre Fit, Sag Harbor — Local services in Town of Southampton

I have a refund situation on a back ordered item that was ordered through Elements and it is still not resolved. Item was purchased and paid for back at the beginning of March. I reached out to find out about the item after not receiving it or getting an update after 2 weeks from purchasing it. Found out it was back ordered and requested it be canceled (multiple times) since I needed it sooner than they could get it to me. I understand the item being on back order was not the fault of Elements but I asked multiple times for them to cancel the item. Finally received the item in April after asking for it to be canceled/refunded before it shipped. Was told refunds/returns aren’t allowed but they would make an exception this time. I sent the item back and the warehouse received it on April 27th. After being told a couple weeks ago that I would be issued a refund, I still have yet to receive my refund. I have emailed 4-5 times in the last week and now I’m not getting a response from anyone. I feel I have been very patient and kind through this whole matter. I have not yelled or gotten nasty. It’s been the most frustrating process I’ve dealt with in working with a small business. I ordered and paid for the item March 12 and it’s now the end of May and I no longer have the item and I’m still missing my refund. If you’re a barre/fitness studio snob like me, try Elements Barre Fit in Upper East Side!

Just took the Barre/Tone class in the morning for the first time. The sequencing works out every part of your body from head to toe: arms (with weights!!), thighs (with bands), legs (with the ball) on the barre , and abs/glutes (with band/ball) before cool down. I appreciated the fact that they stretch you out throughly, before, during and after the workout. The instructor (Melanie) has high energy and clear instructions. I would love to try their dance classes.

The studio is immaculate and spacious. It’s also very pretty and clean. Hard to find boutique studios that are so large!

Overall it was a perfect workout to start my morning in NYC while visiting from out of town (and feeling extremely tired and sore) from inevitably walking around in my high heels all day...

Loved this class but had the worst customer service experience. I drove 25 minutes to a class that began more than 10 minutes late. When I got in the room someone had taken my spot and the instructor was flustered from running late and not available to help. I had an appointment within half hour of finishing class that was already now in jeopardy so I had to leave. I wrote the owner to explain and despite that, I was penalized and marked as a no show — and charged for the class. When my follows ups were ignored I asked for a refund to an expensive package and then got a response...
