After initially positive experience with the team and having spent 1k in the last 2 weeks, I came to todayâs appointment with the stylist named Selena who left me walk out with wet hair and completely disturbed. I had come to the appointment at 4.45pm on time and was rushed to the sink and after a quick shampoo the stylist notified me that she needs to be out in 20 minutes, because she has to catch a train in 30 minutes. After roughly drying my hair and sprayed products all over my face, she accused me of âhaving movedâ so she couldnât avoid spraying into my eyes. Meanwhile the whole handling was very rough and tense and made me feel uneasy. I asked to see the manager because I was uncomfortable with Selena and in turn Selena raised her voice and said I made her uncomfortable. I think I was amicable with all staff previously and left whoever serviced me a generous tip always. The manager told me that I could leave with wet hair and they wouldnât charge me for the appointment. So I left with wet hair and went home to do my own hair after 1 hour of complete waste of time of driving to and from. No apologies or compensations were offered. Beyond that, an appalling attitude of offensiveness from this particular stylist, Selena, left me a chill on my spine questioning how someone without any work ethic or interpersonal skill would land at a high end salon as such, and treating a loyal customer so rudely...
   Read moreI rarely leave a review but felt I should I warn people not to go here. I got a cut for my very thick hair - I asked for just a dusting off the ends - as she cut I said are you putting layers in my hair? She said no. But an inch shorter later and layers with scissor marks I was charged 225 dollars and in tears- the hairdresser told me the color (scheduled for the next day) would Fix the choppy cut and that it was bad color making it look that way. I went back the next day for highlights with a different stylist. Another hairdresser saw my cut and tried to fix it as best she could. After my highlights a toner was put in. The entire time the hair colorist bragged to me and everyone around how good she was at doing my hair and how amazing she was. My highlights were good but my old color was very brassy against the cool highlights. So I said I thought I needed the brass cut. I quote the hair colorist- âyou complain too much and Iâm too drained to do a tonerâ and she stormed off. And she said this to me in front of the receptionist, other stylists, and patrons. It was mortifying. It was all I could do not to burst into tears in front of everyone. I left and resolved myself to have choppy short orangey hair until I can just wash and grow this out. However, Iâm seven months pregnant and I went to my appointment a few minutes early to show up The Salon was with packed and as I was waiting, nobody informed me that the AC was not working when it was my time to be seen. My stylist told me Iâm sorry I will not be taking you. I donât work without AC. Nobody called me in advance and I was sitting there early for 20 minutes and not wanting anybody mentioned that they had just lost the power for the AC. I have a huge event tonight with no one to do my hair. I even offered to have somebody come to my hotel room for extra cost Since the Stylist didnât seem to want to work in the salon. Totally understand things come up I wouldâve apperciated some notice so that I could have found somewhere else to do my hair for my event luckily I know how to do my own however, it was more about the customer service. Nobody was accommodating, nor sorry. No apology jus looked at me like I was crazy when I said it was upsetting . Did not offer me a credit or even a discount on my next visit for the inconvenience I wouldâve been happy to re book an appointment, however, after the lack of customer service, itâs safe to say, I will...
