I will never be eating here again, which Iâm sure doesnât concern anyone, but I will share my experience. My $5 pretzel was fine, and after being coerced into a tip for handing me a pretzel, I was in over $6 in. Zero other customers and sideways cold rain in Traverse City. My daughter and I turned around to eat at the small ledge against the window. The teenager behind the register asked us not to eat inside because it was a small shop and she pointed to a little sign saying no indoor dining. I incredulously asked her if she wanted us to eat in the wind and rain, which she confirmed that she did. When I asked her to at least wipe the soaking wet seats (outside in December), she gave an audible and rude sigh and was passive aggressive and unpleasant.
I now understand why I donât see any customers here, ever. Rude teenagers and overpriced reheated pretzels. And a dumb rule not to eat inside despite a window ledge. Zero indication that you canât eat inside until after you pay. I wonder what will go in this space next when this place goes out of business? I wonât miss you when...
Read moreMy wife and I wanted a snack on a Saturday afternoon, so we stopped here when we saw the pretzel sign from a distance. The people were lined up, so we decided to wait.
After an hour, we stopped by again, and the line was much shorter. I ordered a pretzel with cinnamon and sugar while my wife had a regular salted pretzel.
Service was quick. Our pretzels were in hand almost immediately. We looked at seating inside, but they offered only a few stools at the counter by the window. We went outside instead.
The seating options outside amounted to a few tables and chairs, but they werenât busy, so we easily found an open spot.
The pretzels were slightly smaller than I had expected, but they were soft, both inside and out. Mine was covered in a âhealthyâ dose of cinnamon sugar.
I thought the price was fair, and Iâd definitely stop here again.
As a side note, parking options are limited to street and lot parking along with some parking garages. Be prepared to pay for parking, although it amounts to about...
Read moreThe pretzels were good. However, the customer service; mediocre at best. Coming from a customer service worker, Iâm highly disappointed in the way the employees treated their guests. The girl who took our order (I did not look for her name) took our order at about 2:15 pm on 8-6-22. She was so rude and made hand gestures that clearly displayed her impatience and judgement for us not ordering in the exact way she wanted us too. I understand itâs probably not ideal to work in a muggy work environment and hey, maybe she was having a long day. But no one should ever treat their guest so condescendingly. Itâs disrespectful to not only the guest, but the owner of the store. Iâd suggest going to a chick-fil-a and taking notes on how they treat their guests. I almost wonder if they treat guests like that so they order online instead. 1 star because the pretzels were pretty...
