Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que - to go — Restaurant in Troy

If I could leave a zero star I would. This place has the worst customer service ever. Upon entering the restaurant there was nobody at the front counter for 15 minutes. When the girl returned to the front counter she did not even greet any of the customers (there now was 5 people waiting to get their orders or get seated). She just had a stoic demeanor like she clearly doesn't want to be there. I waited over 45 minutes for my order after the time that it was promised when I ordered online. At that point I just asked for a refund because I no longer wanted the food. They said that they could not refund the order and that only the general manager could do it. Of course, surprise surprise the general manager was not there and the kitchen manager was no help either. I was told the general manager would not be able to refund my order until the next day! I have never heard of such a thing! Mind you she said that she would be refunding it while she is working remotely at home, but it made no sense on why she could not refund me right then and there if shes able to access their servers from home to "issue a refund the next day". I can't speak on the quality of the food because I did not even leave with any Food, and at this point nor have I received a refund. Would...

This was my second visit and it will be my last visit. It is difficult to get into the restaurant which is actually inside Grannite restaurant. So it is not a full-service restaurant for famous Dave’s. In my opinion the franchise needs to pull its license from them. The first experience I had to wait a long time but I was able to walk away with food; however at this time, at 4:20 PM, one of the I guess managers walks out and say they don’t have any ribs ready for about an hour. Why would you not have food ready in the evening when people are going to have dinner? Then I was told there was a charge for a $20 combination plate because I wanted to get ribs. Well, it is supposed to be a rib combination for Famous Dave’s! Why would you charge it up charge either is the price that it should be or is not? After spending about 10 minutes waiting for the young lady to find a menu then to go and find a cartridge for 8 to print out a menu I spent 10 minutes a waste of time to get no food . Would not recommend. I placed a large online order directly from the Famous Dave's website at 11:00 am on Mother's Day for a 5 pm pickup, and I received confirmation that the order was processed and my credit card was charged. Just as we were going to pick up our meal, I happened to check my e-mail and saw that Famous Dave's sent a message saying my order was canceled at 4:35 pm and the reason given was "No famous orders." Why would they confirm my order if they weren't going to make the food?! We tried calling the restaurant (Granite City was the only number listed for them) to find out why they cancelled but the person on the phone couldn't give an answer and the manager was too busy to come to the phone. We were told a manager would call us back, but we haven't received a call yet.
