Just tried this brand new place for the first time. I must preface this review with a note that I have never had Korean barbecue before so my expectations going into this were somewhat unknown. The exterior decor and appearance of this location was very nice and welcoming. The interior decor was absent and left you with a lackluster impression. The menu was simple straightforward and very easy to understand and order from. The wait staff taking my order seemed less than enthusiastic and was unwilling to make a substitution of kimchi in lieu of a side of radish relish. The prices were extremely reasonable, the portion size of the dishes was very nice. The taste and quality of the food was very good. This being my first time time tasting Korean BBQ I genuinely did not know what to expect, I enjoyed everything. This location is on a busy downtown street and parking can be challenging. The lighting inside the restaurant makes it hard to tell if it is even open if your just glancing from moving traffic. Overall it was a very nice dinner for a great price. Something different with a definite eye for quality in the preparation. I will definitely go again. A new business that will be delicious to support and exciting...

Eric the manager was very rude to me after I spent over $80 for a door dash order which I had to come in to get sauce for my k-plate .... I order doordash for convenience... I even ordered another order of dumplings which were not even started until I got there .... which Eric then proceeded to mock me stating ..... they are not burgerking so I can't get it "my way" .... I had to ask for tge owner to help me ... Eric was very rude and condensing... I used to spend over $100 a week at this establishment.... I won't be doin that again because of Eric's disrespectful attitude towards his clients .... 3 sauces is not a major ask for client who has spent so much money over the years with your company.... Eric needs some help with his client skills .... personally I felt this had to do with my race because I watch how he treated other ppl of color and it...

Went here as the three of us were craving Korean food. We had the K-, spicy chicken and Hot plates with wings. They were out of bubble tea cups so we did not get a chance to try the bubble tea there. The prices were reasonable and between the wings and the plates we did not leave hungry. I expected a bit more food on the plate as they were not nearly as full as in the other review pictures, and without the wings, would have left us still peckish… we were given nicely pickled radishes with lettuce, though not offered with option for pickled cucumbers and kimchi that other reviews mentioned. I think it was a nice meal, though I would have also liked some rice to complete it. Reasonable prices, pretty good flavors, and to go plates, fitting for a colleg-y town and...

I would frequent this spot if I lived or worked in Troy. The prices were very reasonable, and the spicy chicken had a great spice. The spicy mayo was also delicious. However, a light, cool dressing on the lettuce to cool off the dish would have been much appreciated, since it was a hot summer day. The lettuce with spicy sauce on it really didn't add anything to the dish. My husband ordered the short ribs, and the meat was a little chewy; the chicken was definitely better. Overall, it was pretty good.

Cool Korean spot in downtown Troy. I didn’t see any reviews of the vegetarian dish so I decided to give it a try. I ordered take out for lunch on a Friday, and it was a 10 minute pickup. The portion of the veggie platter was generous and the price was typical for a lunch these days (note: dinner portion is the same size) The dish came with a couple different vegetables, rice and lettuce; so much flavor! I added the kimchi for $2- worth it.
